Ken and his crew at KP Contracting were by far the most professional and responsive contractors I have worked with --- ever! ( and I'm a Realtor and work with MANY contractors ) Ken was always available to answer our questions we had, and he is a businessman that truly has integrity and honesty and pride in the work he does. My husband and I had our entire main level flooring redone last week. Ken is super talented, his work is amazing, and my husband and I both agreed after this experience of working with him and his guys that we have found our - "go to guy" for any home improvement projects. Our floors are gorgeous and we couldn't be happier. Definitely hire these guys - you won't be sorry! Thanks Ken and KP Contracting!
We hired Gonzalez Construction to help us with a condo remodel. The work they did included demolition, framing, drywall, new lighting, installing trim, removing tile, laying new tile, plumbing work, leveling the floor, and wood floor install throughout. Daniel and his team were reliable, finished the work quickly, and were professional throughout the entire process. We would definitely hire them again!
Chris has done a fabulous job with helping us update our home. We have been incredibly impressed by his attention to detail and his professionalism. He has done tiling, demolition, painting and other projects. I was especially impressed with the great job he did on our backsplash which is always complimented by our guests.
Mountain Home Remodeler performed demolition services and installed the hard wood floor and backsplash, among other things. The work was performed at a high quality level and Jim went above and beyond by assisting with other smaller projects not part of the contract. The only criticism would be a matter of setting expectations regarding the length of the project.
We cannot recommend Maurice highly enough - the quick answer is to use him. The long answer, about why we are so grateful we contracted with him, is below. We reached out to Maurice to give us a quote to replace our shower pan. Maurice, of the several quotes we received, was the most expensive. He was also the most thorough, detailed, and forthcoming in his estimate of services (including immediately sharing he was licensed, bonded and insured; nobody else shared that information). Others we reached out to were quick or superficial with their estimates, and offered to keep costs small by providing services that would cover up the damage. Maurice, on the other hand, spent about 45 minutes with us, sharing what was likely causing our damage (which went beyond providing any repairs that could cover up or quickly repair our failing shower pan), and shared with us what both best and worst case scenarios would be. Maurice, once the work started, uncovered a large amount of black mold, water damage, and pending electrical nightmares. He quickly stopped the work, reached out to both my husband and I, and did not continue to mitigate any damage until we were able to see for ourselves what he had uncovered and ascertain what our next steps would be. Throughout the entire time he worked with us, he garnered approval for any deviation from the plan; this happened with big issues and small. Furthermore, Maurice was on site and involved in the work every step of the way. Although our job ended up being much more involved, detailed, and costly than we had anticipated (although, admittedly, we decided to do a complete bathroom remodel), I cannot tell you how grateful I am that it was. Maurice’s in-depth work and commitment to quality uncovered serious safety hazards, including black mold and electrical issues. If we went with a contractor that promised us a cheaper cover-up, we would have never known about the damage in our bathroom that could have caused us nightmares if they went unfixed.
In a booming real estate market that has made it difficult to find skilled construction and carpentry contractors that have not doubled their prices to take advantage of the current demand that exists, it is refreshing to find someone that isn't charging those higher prices. Joe's work is very good and I saved over half by using him over the other bids I had received.
I was considering making an offer on a house that was built in 1953, definitely a fixer-upper! Since I am a 70-year-old single woman, I needed to be sure the project would be feasible for me. Jim has impressive experience in many areas of construction, but took the time to analyze the home with my needs and skills in mind, since he had seen my previous projects. He has helped me with various aspects of the remodel, and I would highly recommend him for his abilities, integrity, work ethic, and reasonable pricing.
They demolished my kitchen and removed asbestos wrapped duct work from my crawl space. They worked quickly and cleaned up well and everything was done ahead of the schedule they gave me. They were also personable. They were reasonable in price as well. I whole heartedly recommend them!
I recently hired Mike to do some work for me on my old 1883 brick building / restaurant. I have to say I was way more than satified with the work that he did. It was simply like God did the work himself! I have never met any handyman that was so punctual with time, soooo amazing with his craftmanship, and so fair on price. I have flipped 30+ houses in the Denver area and Mike has been the best contractor I have EVER worked with! You will not be disapoined if you choose Mike to do your work. He is THE BEST! Thanks again Mike!!!
Jamie recently stopped by my house for an electrical job. I needed to somehow change a can light into a setup for three pendent lights. I had two other bids on the job from electricians, both consisting of costly work and major drywall demolition and repair. When Jamie came by, he assured me he could hang the lights AND fix the drywall for cheaper than the two previous bids. Not only did he hang the lights beautifully, but he came up with a solution which created NO ceiling demolition. YAY! He was a neat worker, a perfectionist, and worked quickly...all while answering my 6-year old's questions about his process. I'd definitely recommend Jamie and will certainly be calling him for other odds and ends jobs around my house. Thank you, Jamie!
