Our French Bulldog took instantly to the method of training. Dion was very patient with him (and with us)! We are so pleased with the results after just one session.
Pete is an excellent trainer. Even though, with previous dogs, we have been through several types of training. Having Pete in the home he shows us real world ways to train our Samoyed puppy in such a way as she doesn't forget what she learned as soon as she leaves the trainer's premise. Highly recommend Better Manners for any dog training needs.
We highly recommend Beth and Wayne for your all dog training needs. Together they are a great team and both are very knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, fun to learn from, reliable, and their true goal is to help you and your pet enjoy each other through love, bonding, and teaching your dog good manners.
Great choice for complete dog training
Very great experience! Our puppy learned how to sit, lay, stay, come and get down within 2 visits! Im not guaranteeing that your dog will learn that in two visits, but Anne definitley knows what she is doing. I highly recommend this way of training if you're looking for something useful, and personal.
We love Kay and are so happy to have her working with us on puppy training. She is full of helpful ideas and has been instrumental in teaching each of us (3 teenagers included) how to best train and get the results we are looking for. Each session she brings new information and tools to train with and our puppy just loves her. We are so grateful to have her with us on this journey!
Scott was amazing! He met our rambunctious pup, Burt and made an astute detailed plan of the steps we need to take to help our little guy with anxiety. The meeting was professional, informative and honestly, enjoyable! I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking dog training.
Easily the best choice I made for training my dog. Allison is very professional and takes her job very seriously. You can tell she has a true passion for this profession.
Joey Baker has the experience to develop a dog to its full potential. His love of dogs and training he always demonstrates.I recommend him highly
We are still in training...so far so good. We have a difficult dog who needs lots of work. We feel confident that the training will accomplish all of our needs.
My grand-dog, Baloo, was staying with us for a brief time. Whenever someone was in the front of our house in the street or someone would come to the door, he would bark. He would want to be in their space. Aurora was at our house and saw how the dog was behaving. She asked me if she could work with him and I was more than willing for her intervention. She worked with him for about 10 minutes while I was observing. I was totally amazed at his positive reaction. I have tried what she showed me since and it has worked. Most of the time I didn't need to touch him. She would snap her finger at the same time make a sh-shing sound, never raising her voice, and assertive touch to the side of his neck. He obeyed and understood in about 5 minutes.Since I was so impressed with how Aurora worked with Baloo I highly recommend her for anyone considering or needing dog training.
My adopted 2 1/2 year old American Bulldog (Lila) was difficult on leash and was showing signs of being dog aggressive/selective. With Lance's guidance/training I now know what to do if she pulls on leash (which is becoming less and less each day). She also knows her basic commands (sit, stay and come). As for dog aggression/selection Lance worked with her for about a hour and she is leaps and bounds better. I now know what to do for dog meet and greets and how to handle the situation if she is showing aggression. Thanks Lance!
We have just started our training with Terry, I am very pleased right now . Terry goes out of her way to find what will work for training our dog.
Matt did an incredible job training our dog Lucy. I worked every week with her and trained her at her pace instead of trying to rush her. I really appreciated his care and understanding of our dogs feelings. He was very flexible with the classes which was great for our schedules. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to obedience train their dog.
We hired Brandon to mow our lawn, he has always been prompt, reliable and done a great job! He let us know immediately when his mower died in the middle of mowing (we were not home at the time), and returned to finish the job the next day.
My husband and I got in contact with Patrice to help work with our reactive dog, Alice. We wanted to minimizing some of her behaviors on walks, like barking and lunging at other dogs, buses, trucks, bikes....pretty much anything moving. We also wanted to work on her manners when meeting new people at our house, and barking at things out the window. We appreciated the initial meeting with Patrice where she listened thoroughly to our needs, asked questions to get a better understanding, and prioritize our goals. From there, we scheduled private lessons about once a week, and saw Alice's confidence build. She LOVED Patrice, and because the training was all positive and involved her favorite thing, food, she was a very happy participant and picked up things quickly! After a session, Patrice would send out a very detailed email to summarize our training, clarify our training "homework" for the week, and she was always available to answer questions or help troubleshoot challenges in between sessions, and even check in after we ended our training program to make sure things were still going well. Alice is so much better on walks, even when buses, trucks, or other dogs are in close proximity. It's made our walks pleasant and successful when they used to be stressful. We had a friend visit who took Alice for a walk recently and didn't know we had done training -- she raved about the change in Alice on walks! We were so proud and excited to share that our training had paid off.
