- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hourly standard Which is $40 per hr. Depending on the job and how many hrs. I do offer a discount on jobs that are forty hrs or more which brings it down to $35 an hr. Estimates and bids are common along with some flat rated jobs as well such as lights and plumbing fixtures replaced appliance installs And there is no service call charge ever.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have to be attentive to everything they ask for and basically learn as much about the client as I can. When your in someone else's home total respect is the process start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh yes indeed you have to or else you get left behind. I have been in this work since I was a young pre-teen. I had several yards I took care of paper route ect. Then at the age of 14 I went to work in the high school with the maintenance dept. painting,stripping and waxing floors building things,so I've been in the field all my life. Ive taken classes in machine shop 2 years associate degrees I've been a volunteer fireman which gave me a huge training in an unrelated but important area very useful in my business today.
