While attending UMSL, he studied with internationally acclaimed professors including Alla Voskoboynikova for Classical piano, Barbara Harbach for Composition, and Ken Kehner for Jazz piano. Ryan was recognized with top honors in the class of 2018 receiving a Distinguished Performance in Keyboard award and the Outstanding Music Composition award from the UMSL Music Department as well as being a member of the Honors Society and Deans List. While attending school he also performed and participated in the Concert choir & Jazz Ensembles.

We trialed several piano teachers for my 5yo son's intro to piano. By far, Ryan was his favorite. He's been teaching my son for about 4 months now, and my son loves his lessons. Ryan's musical integrity, endless patience and knack for engaging and inspiring children has been a joy to watch. I also recently began taking lessons from Ryan, and his ability to transition from beginner piano lessons with a young child to an adult lesson for someone with a foundation in music is impressive.
Ryan communicates quickly and efficiently. We've had some scheduling snafus, but he went the extra mile to ensure we had regular time on the calendar that worked for all of our schedules.
We are thrilled we found Ryan, and would highly recommend him as a teacher for both children and adults.

Ryan is a fantastic piano teacher! My son has learned wonderful skills in such a short period of time and he cant wait for his lessons! Ryan strikes a remarkable balance encouraging my son to explore playing some of his preferred fun songs while also reinforcing the basics to propel my sons skills to eventually sit down and play anything. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $90 per hour however with a package of 8 lessons the price is dropped to $80 an hour.
