Introduction: Everyday, I hear from clients how much they appreciate my daily consistency and follow up, how novel it is to them and often, it arrives at the perfect time. To me, it is the essential link. Meeting or maintaining goals moves beyond the hour or two we spend training or doing yoga or talking food. I think people don't realize how much they need the cheers until they start receiving them. I get to work directly with people and become part of the success formula. I love educating others and seeing clients move closer to the vision they have for themselves.

My weight and health has always been a source of anxiety for me. Having a small boned body and being short but not obese, has proved it very difficult for me to find the right food and dietary plan to help me get back on a road to health and lose weight. Initially I had little hope, but Melissa was right there by my side. It was hard but with her help, support and guidance I have been seeing amazing results. She has been right at my side encouraging, guiding me and being my biggest cheerleader. Her exercise plan is challenging and gives the best results. I have re-found my waistline and my flabby arms have started to get definition again. My goal was to fit into my white skinny jeans, and with the help of Melissa, I fit into them again. I never thought that would be possible. Most of all she gave me easy to achieve goals – “small steps” as she calls them. Melissa never discourages me to not eat what I want, instead she preaches moderation and gives you alternatives- “if you fall off the wagon one day, jump back on the next” is what she tells me. She is patient and firm at the same time. She has given me the tools to live a life that is vibrant and healthy and energetic. From cooking lessons, one-on-one training sessions and shopping trips she has been just what I needed. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I'm doing Melissa's 21 day kickstart program right now to lose some weight that I've been having trouble trying to lose on my own. I weighed in for the first time on day 16 and saw and 8 pound weight loss. I can't even BEGIN to tell you how happy that made me. I'm normally a pretty healthy person. My portion sizes were not completely out of control and I exercise regularly. I really have to credit this to everything Melissa has taught me about food combining and the day to day support she's given. She emails and calls, sends recipes (simple ones because I don't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen), and gives me exercise challenges that are strengthening my core which has always been weak. Seeing how well my body has responded in just a little over two weeks has been incredibly gratifying. If you do what Melissa says, you'll see results. And it's easy to do what she says because she's there to encourage and teach you new things everyday.

    I was in business for a decades, putting together companies, building stores, products and teams. I had the honor of working with my father for the last 10 years or so until he passed. At that point, I decided to dive into my true passions and here I am.

    Go with your gut. It's your life.

    People in the wellness world are so bright and work so hard to bring what they do to light. It's a heady mix of business and service that needs constant tuning.
