- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My consultations are scheduled for two hours and cost $80.00. My hourly fee for organization is $50.00. My selling fee [for items no longer wanted] is 10% of the item's resell price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to address the goals for a client and I begin by scheduling a two hour consultation. Goals vary depending on the work requested and its helpful to know if the client would prefer to learn along the way or have the luxury of not worrying about a thing while I organize it all for them! I like to find out how a person or family uses their space, what organization systems would compliment their way of living and address issues with a high level of personalization. After the consultation, I work hourly on projects. I will do all shopping for organization items [like containers or tools] as well as any donation drop offs. I will resell items for clients for an additional fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a NAPO member and regularly take classes on organization as well as attend national organization conferences and expos. I stay current with trends and read up on systems so my information is always recent. I specialize in tailoring organization systems to an individual or family and will happily coach a client in these. If the client wishes to take part in the organization jobs I'm doing, I always work to transfer skills so maintenance of the organization doesn't seem daunting after I leave.
