About
Hoolabalu can paint almost anything your child would like. We don't bring a board unless it is requested so that your child can let their imaginations go wild. We use only professional highly pigmented cosmetic face paint. This is the safest option for your child's sensitive skin. Our balloons are awesome. Even if there is something we aren't quite sure about, your balloon artist will do their best to create whatever your child would like. I LOVE what I do! I love to watch peoples personalities come alive with the help of a little paint. I love to bring a little magic into everyone's lives. Most of all I love to see the smile on a child's face when they see their finished balloon, face painting, or henna tattoo.

Michelle was great! She came out to do balloon twisting and a show. The show kept the kids entertained for about 15 minutes and the balloons were awesome! She even twisted mini mouse! I will use her again.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly learning new techniques to stay up to date on the latest styles and characters. I take weekly classes from FABA the Face and Body Art Association.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began painting when I was in high school and I just couldn't consider doing anything else. In 2000 I joined the ARMY where I learned about graphic design, being on time, and working as a team. After four years I took my design skills to the streets. As much as I loved the art, I missed the human contact. By 2010 I was back in college, but I needed to make some extra money on the side. I took my son to a fair where all he wanted was a Batman mask. That mask made his day and all I could think was this is it. I can do that. And so it started, my journey into children's entertainment.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most popular party is 2-hours long. Face Painting and Balloons!
