FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love building things. I grew up with a father who was a contractor, so it's in my blood. After college, I spent fifteen years building multimillion-dollar commercial buildings across the country. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to start my own business in Colorado Springs and I haven't looked back since.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Remodeling, additions, new homes, decks, garages, finished basements, and commercial tenant improvements.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't "just" look for a low-ball number from the cheapest contractor in town. That's the most common mistake I see. Make sure your contractor fully understands the project and that you will be receiving everything you are paying for. They should be willing to put it in writing and be held accountable if they don't deliver on that agreement. Oftentimes, the contractors who low-ball prices offer nothing but poor quality, missed deadlines, cut corners, and mechanics liens because they didn't bid the job correctly and cannot pay their laborers, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Go with the most capable contractor you can find and work together on putting together a project that meets your budget by value engineering the design, reviewing material options, and having honest conversations about what you need and how much you're able to spend. We like to partner with our customers, not compete to see who wins in the end.
