About
I'm a small contractor. I can do most anything needed to fix up a home. I mainly build decks and do basement finishes. I don't start numerous jobs and bounce around. I do one job at a time and I don't stop working until the job is complete. I personally do all or most of the work required on my jobs.
I always give extremely detailed estimates and work orders. This way you know exactly what you're getting done and how much each part is.
Please only request an estimate if you're serious. Thank you.
I am a licensed contractor but it's not showing up on here. 26831 PPRBD

I interviewed 3 companies and got bids. They were so vastly different it was ridiculous. Howard understood what I needed and why. He gave me a very simple solution for an amazing price. He and his crew came and knocked the job out in a couple of hours. They were neat and clean and I couldn’t be happier. I would use Howard again in an instant

Howard is very contentious and did a great job repairing the joists on our deck! He also recommended against a suggestion from the Home Inspector that the new joists be married up to the rotting joists. He said this would give you double the rotting joists! He replaced them instead and I really appreciated his suggestion and candor.

Howard does it all! 10/10 recommend him for your next project, or in my case… call him when you realize you are in way over your head on a DIY project. I had been wanting to cover the ugly concrete patio in my yard and built the frame over top of the concrete (not well as there was some sloping in the middle). I reached out to Howard to finish/fix the job by attempting to correct my mess and laying the Trex beautifully! Now I just have to get bricks or lattice to go around the platform. Howard was knowledgeable, quick, efficient and just an all around great guy. I plan to hire him for a few other projects I have in mind!
Thanks again Howard, you rock!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices tend to be better than the larger contractors. I always give specific details on how much each part of a job costs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to show customers pictures of previous work I've done so they can see the quality of my work. Once I start a job for someone I stay on it until it's finished, usually working every day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started framing homes in 1984. I learned all my other trade skills just by doing hands on work, I'm mostly self taught.
