Introduction: I don't rush through inspections. I limit my day to two inspections at most. Other inspectors in the area may be inclined to keep a fuller schedule by booking more per day. I feel that compromises the quality of the inspection which is not something I'm willing to do.
I have invested in premium tools and software to improve the content and readability of my reports. My reports can be used by the home buyer long after the initial inspection as a reference document of how their home operates.
Meeting home buyers! Not everyone is an expert in the heating, plumbing, and electrical systems of their home. I love being able to take the time during an inspection to help make sure that the home buyer is educated about what they are buying and are prepared to manage the systems during the time they own their home.
