- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It starts with watching houses and pets for family and friends as a teenager. They know how much I love my own pets, they know I'm responsible, and they feel comfortable knowing their pets and houses are in good hands.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common duties for house-sitting are watering the plants, cleaning, checking mail, mowing the lawn, and making sure lights are not off all the time to make the house look lived in. My pet-sitting duties usually include feeding, watering, and exercising the pet. I also have given medication to animals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone you can trust. A good fit for you and your pet will stand out.
