Introduction: I have been working with dogs in one way or another for 40 years. I have been certified since 2005. Most of my business comes from veterinary referrals.
I have been successful working with very aggressive dogs, anxious dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. One of the areas of my professional life that I am most proud of is being mentored by Gary Wilkes, one the top pioneers in dog behavior in this country. I use a variety of tools and methods tailored to fit both dog and owner to get you the dog you and your family can enjoy.

I have three VERY active yellow labs. The smallest one is 83 pounds! They think they are lap dogs AND in charge! We were at our wits' end - we didn't go for walks - we went for drags! If they got out of the yard or off the leash, it was a merry chase for hours! Laurie stepped into the picture and they are actually easy to walk now! They mind - they behave - and we can let them off the leash and they will explore, but always keep looking back at us to make sure it's all ok. If we call them to come back, they actually do! Amazing! I never thought I would see the day that they actually behave like civilized dogs! Laurie is dynamite! And what's even better: SHE TRAINS WITH REWARD FOR GOOD BEHAVIOR - NOT PUNISH AND AVOID!

Laurie has worked with my charity, Harley's Hope Foundation, on several training cases. She has done an amazing job helping clients work through issues with their pets, helping to keep those pets in their homes and out of shelters/rescues. She also turned a foster dog who was "kennel crazy" into a loving, adoptable animal who found a wonderful home as a result of Laurie's efforts. She has always been professional and responsive to our client's needs and I highly recommend her services.
