Hello! My name is Eka, and I’m a professional musician and piano teacher with many years of experience. I’m originally from Eastern Europe and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree from Academy of Arts, as well as 12 years of study at a specialized music school.
I teach piano to all ages and skill levels. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals, and may include sight-reading, solfege, harmony, music theory, technique, and ear training. I can recommend theory and/or practice books based on the student’s age and level.
Recitals are offered twice a year (optional but encouraged) so students can perform for family and friends and build confidence. Lessons are held at my location.

Eka is by far the best music teacher I’ve had the privilege to spend time with. Her passion for piano knows no bounds. She’s discerning, patient, kindhearted, and incredibly talented not only playing the piano, but teaching it as well. I’ve seen her interact with students of all age groups, and I firmly believe that she is at the very top of her craft. She is one of one, and I firmly believe that she brings far more value to the community than most people can conceptualize. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give free 15min initial lesson, where I introduce myself and get to know new student,his/her needs and level in piano instruction. I explain my expectation and demonstrate what they should expect from lessons.
