FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors to complete 24 hours of continuing education each year. Though with the wealth of knowledge continually added to their pool of information it is quite easy to exceed that number simply learning about new techniques or things to keep an eye out for.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Home Inspectors are Jack-of-all-trades types. In our professions we learn about every aspect of a home's construction and it's major components. A roofer knows roofs, and a contractor knows how to build a wall. Home Inspectors need a foundational base of knowledge on everything; framing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, plumbing...every aspect of your home. Some people balk at our prices until they see that knowledge pay off in the work we do for them.
