Introduction: Johnson's Global Advisors Corp. is a broad market, low-cost multi-capitalization equity and fixed index/ETF investment manager using a full-replication methodology. Our global team specializes in a disciplined approach to allocate assets across all developed and emerging markets by constructing portfolio strategies principally consistent with the MSCI AWCI ex-US indexes for our institutional and high net worth clients. Each portfolio's securities are selected from the benchmark of the client's choosing. Portfolios are held in its index proportion weight, limiting the need for rebalancing and substantially reducing transaction costs. Our approach is disciplined and structured with the objective of duplicating the fundamental characteristics to ensure proper performance tracking of the index. Our quantitative index investment team strategy implements an automated monitoring system to evaluate and manage each portfolio. The systems identify portfolio deviations, including individual security mis-weights and analyze factor biases by economic sector, capitalization sector and yield. The portfolio manager continuously evaluates the portfolio's composition relative to the index and if a factor bias threshold is exceeded, the portfolio is rebalanced, typically using cash flows from dividend accruals and contributions and withdrawals depending on the client's portfolio management guidelines. We then provide tactical exposure to the sector, country, commodity, currency or theme play we have a view on while adding a rich/cheap analysis to get a sense of relative value and bring some essential fundamentals into the picture to bring a "reality check" to the model-driven outputs when making our selections.
