If you're looking for music for a cocktail hour at a wedding, reception for a business meeting, holiday party, or any other event, we can provide the perfect background setting. Based on the jazz trios of Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans, and Vince Guraldi, we bring the full sound of a jazz band to your event and can be both soft and elegant or energetic and sophisticated, depending on the type of mood we need to set. Our repertoire includes over 400 songs from '30s swing and '50s jazz to '70s fusion.
The Three Man Big Band has decades of performing experience. Pianist Nate Lawrence Leichtman is an internationally touring jazz pianist who has performed in Mexico, South America, Hawaii, Australia, and French Polynesia. He performs every Wednesday at Baur's Listening Lounge, and has recently been listed as one of Denver's top 30 under 30 Jazz musicians by radio station KUVO.

Prompt, pleasant, and smiling, Nate arrived with his band for our annual Holiday party event and proceeded to perform delightful and artful musical arrangements perfectly tailored to our crowd of 200 residents ranging in age from 20-70. Nate's musical sets began the night with jazz standards designed to help intermingling of guests as food and drinks were served. As the night progressed, his progressive musical choices fostered energetic responses and brought out the dancers! The 3 Man Band was a delightful compliment to our event, enhancing the evening by creating a lovely memory for us all.

Nate did great! He played the piano very well and made our wedding music special. He was timely and professional. Nate performed the service to our expectations and we couldn't ask for more on our wedding day. Hire Nate if you ate looking for a pianist.

Nate's talent as a pianist was a fantastic enhancement to Ashley and Josh's September 20 wedding at Villa Parker. Perfect background music for our rehearsal dinner celebration. Nate and his musicians were wonderful to work with --- professional, great sound and music selections, and enjoyable for all ages. I cannot wait to have another gathering!

Nate is a classically trained pianist with outstanding talent. He can play any type of music and does play in numerous bands. He played at my Dad's retirement party in Chicago, which made the party! My Dad has thrown parties for his hospital staff of thousands of people for over 40 years and was extremely impressed with Nate's talent and professionalism. Nate also played at my wedding celebration in a church which was very specific liturgical music and it was beautiful. I would recommend Nate for any type of event or music genre.
