I went into Thumbtack website looking for a company to install our carpeting. Finished Flooring was the first company to respond. Vince responded within 15 minutes and asked if he could call me. I sent my phone number, he called me right back and said that he could have someone out that day to give us a quote on installing our carpet. At 1:00 the same day, Hugo was here to give us a quote and the price was great so we decided to proceed with them. I have to tell you that after dealing with several other companies, Vince and Hugo with Finished Flooring were like a breath of fresh air. They were friendly, professional and willing to do whatever time frame worked for us. The team that they sent out to install the carpet were also friendly, professional and fast!! They carpeted our whole basement which was full of furniture that had to be moved from room to room. They cleaned up the area where they installed the carpet as well as cleaning up the outside where they had to cut the carpet. They completed the installation in one day!! I will be referring everyone I know to Finished Flooring. I just wish I would have found them in the beginning of the process, because I would have bought the carpet and padding from them as well. I went to a well know company to purchase the carpeting and pad with "free 72 hr free installation" on June 9th and as of July 3rd it still hadn't been completed. That was when I call Finished Flooring and they had the job done on July 11th. They would of had it done sooner, but it took the other company we bought the carpet from that long just to deliver it to our house. I will be using Finished Flooring for all of my other flooring needs in the future. Thank you Vince, Hugo and team for doing such an awesome job!! Teresa Taylor

Hugo was able to squeeze us into a busy schedule to get our house ready to sell. The installers did a great job, helped move furniture and hauled everything old to the dumpster for us. Will definitely use them again. Hugo, Mya and Vince were very communicative and professional setting up the appointments. Hugo set it up to pick up the carpet we bought for us... Even though we didn't buy it from him. He offered!

Not only were they pleasant, flexible, responsive, providing high-quality workmanship and service through out this complicated job, cleaning up well, coordinating with my tenant, they also went above and beyond the call of duty. We had some complications on this job (nobody's fault really, very complicated grand staircase with complicated patterned carpet) and the Finished Floors team took care of us down to the last detail, sticking to their original quote despite my offer to pay more. I am delighted with Finished Floors and will use them again. ...By the way, over time I've realized this: when actual on-site work is involved, using a good small company which actually cares about each customer totally beats large outlets which treat you like a number. and you've just found one if you're reading this!

I got 3 response for my project and this was the only company that responded when I contacted them. They were flexible in setting up the initial metting; as well as the work. We had a week window and they were able to schedule the job and get the materials when we needed. - the other respondents, whom I left messages for still haven't replied. Finished Floors has already finished our work.

We taking into account many variables when estimating a project. Those variables include size, product type, style of flooring, ease of access and location.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The things I would look for in a Service Provider is quality follow up and communication. House projects in general can seem like bigger projects then they are due to the lack of communication by both sides. Transparency and quality follow up make the customer experience much easier and after all that's why they are choosing to hire someone rather than trying to watch a YouTube video and do it them selves.
