Ken is wonderful! He installed laminate wood flooring and ceramic tile in our home. He was on-time, delivered exactly what he promised, communicated with me throughout the process, and cleaned up after he was done. We will definitely hire him again!
We will be hiring Gonzalez Construction for our next project and here's why. Daniel and team help us with a kitchen remodel including removing walls, installing hardwood floors, cabinets, tile, removing external window, and recess lighting. They delivered on time and cost was affordable.
Matty arrived on 9/13 the day of the Boulder flood to our townhouse complex. He is a friend of the next door neighbor. Quickly he established rapport and was able to come into my unit and estimate when he would be finished with the unit next door so we could work with the tenants re: the time needed to repair drywall, floor, in the downstairs, approximately 400 sq feet. His work was of high quality and was most willing to work with me as I was doing the painting. He was hired to work on 2 more units after finishing with mine. He was clear and organized re: what needed to be completed in what order. His tile work and dry wall work was lovely. In a crisis situation he was most amiable and easy to work with. I would recommend him and his work. I only needed drywall and tile work and I would recommend his expertise and quality of finish work.
Cesar did a great job (and quickly!) on completing our kitchen back splash tile, repairing and texturing some drywall and installing our bead board for our kitchen bar wall. Everything came out great. Thanks Cesar! Scot
We decided to go with laminate wood flooring instead of tile. LDM Flooring did a great job! They listened to our ideas to understand what we wanted & expected. They came out quickly & scheduled our job as soon as possible. They did a good job leveling & preparing the floor prior to installing the flooring. We love the results & would recommend their services. We hope to use them again for other jobs.
I had a small mosaic tile install-- Kyle was very responsive and comminicative throughoput the entire process. He was very attentive to detail, and always kept me involved in the details regarding the final finished product. He kept the work area clean, and was always aware of our time restrictions. I would definitly use him again
Leroy helped us install tile and laminate flooring in our main floor and he also helped re-texture our ceilings that were originally popcorn ceilings. The quality of the work was outstanding and Leroy was able to get in and get the job done quickly and at a fair price. He was accessible and easy to talk to/work with. We would highly recommend Leroy - we are so happy with everything!
I am writing to let anyone looking for excellent tile work to call Al & Betty Jo Thibodeaux @ New Creations in Tile & Stone! This team of experts do fantastic work on flooring, countertops and backsplash, and they are the consummate professionals in the field! We hired them to do our kitchen tile in ceramic "pyriti rust", and it came out so incredibly beautiful that it transformed the look of our entire kitchen into what now appears to look like a classic "Italian courtyard"! The price was lower than the others we called, and we are already saving and planning to have them do our countertops and backsplash in a coordinating color to match our beautiful flooring. I would not hesitate to recommend this team for any of your flooring, countertop or backsplash needs! You will be blessed and amazed by their talent and immaculate professionalism! :)
Bamboo Floor and Staircase Remediation and Installation John helped me with a floor installation project to correct the abysmal job done by the previous contractor: the bamboo floor was so badly buckled that it was impossible to walk on without effort. (The first contractor said his objective was "no gaps" in the floor; I told him mine was a "flat floor to walk on.") John removed the floor boards and numbered them, then reinstalled them correctly. The result is beautiful! (I just feel sorry for my previous renters who had to step over the "accordion pleats.") He also then removed the ancient linoleum from the stairs and installed the same bamboo flooring on them (the previous contractor said it wasn't possible). He then designed and installed a clever bullnose molding for the steps in mahogany (but perfectly matched to the bamboo cover) and stained/installed a new, matching threshold for the private entrance to the basement. John was meticulous about planning his work space and keeping it clean so that the work did not interfere with my having guests over to dinner, using the laundry room, etc. It was wonderful that he treated my home with such respect! He also communicated clearly about when he would arrive, how long he would be working, and what the task objectives for the day were, in addition to taking care of ordering materials and picking them up. I am delighted with the results and just wish I had known about his work before hiring the first contractor I used. Legal Library Bookcase Customization and Installation/Kitchen Pantry Shelves John customized and installed seven cherry bookcases that I obtained from a company that was relocating. Each shelf (I used about 42) weighed 20 pounds and, since my Park Hill, Tudor-style home was build in 1941, the downstairs space in which I wanted to place them was irregular vertically (not true) and horizontally (not level). John figured out how to create my dream libraries (one in my downstairs rental unit, the other in my hallway/office area). He also painted the hallway where four of the bookcases were installed (on my to-do list, but he wanted to see the project really done and perfect). Also in a shelving vein, John removed the wire shelves that were in my reach-in (not walk-in) kitchen pantry and installed permanent shelves that are secure enough to support the many glass storage containers I use for grains, nuts, legumes, etc. What a difference! The open pantry is no longer an embarrassing and messy eyesore, everything has a place, and the overall effect is exactly what I'd pictured. It took him about a day to complete this. As with the other work, John was careful to keep my work space clean and minimize disruption to my routine. He removed all the old hardware (even the pieces that had been painted over multiple times by previous owners) and filled in the resulting holes so that no drywall work was needed. The outcome is even better than I'd imagined with both the bookcases and the pantry. My friends and family are very impressed with the changes and have asked him to give them proposals.
The job entailed removal of existing engineered wood, as well as prepping and installation of hardwood (e.g., Elm) across 780 square feet of flooring space. The total elapsed time to completion was around 5 days. Installation took a bit longer because existing flooring was glued to concrete. What impressed me about Daniil was his work ethic and professionalism throughout the process. He was the ONLY bid that provided me with thorough documentation and recommendations. He compiled his quote on site while I waited (about one hour). He worked within my timeline to get the job done. I was so impressed with his work that I recommended him to two friends of mine who are likely to need flooring work done in the next few months. Next Step Building, LLC exceeded my expectations.
Maurice and his crew just completed a 1,000 s.f. tile installation in the first floor of our townhouse. We could not be more pleased. We went with Maurice because of the depth of his experience in residential, commercial and institutional work. He moves from, but never at the expense of quality. He did this 9-day job, knowing when an additional installer or two would help and when he best left working alone. Also unlike other flooring specialists we've used, he is skilled at handling little problems you run into on a job like this He was also extremely efficient in use of tile. I seriously doubt whether there is anybody better in Northern Colorado for installing floors.
full master 5-pc bath remodel; entire family room with removal & installation of walls, lighting etc. Sid was an amazing find. I thought his project would be the end of me. He worked with us so easily. His words were "i am here to make sure you get what you want, then I am done." Isn't that what we all need when working on a project? He is a ceramic & glass tile MASTER! We are blessed that we found him.
He came on time an although he had established two days to finish the job, he stayed late and finished in one day. The work looked great and he filled an expansion joint that wasn't part of the scope of work to insure the tile would not crack in the future. We were very pleased with his work. Polite and professional..
John was VERY processional, offered an explained and reasonable quote, he responded immediately and answered any question, and followed up when he said he would. He was also clear on how many boarder tiles were needed, that home depot would take back what wouldn't be used and was exact on what type grout. In addition, we still got to pick the tile and grout. I had a question on where a row would end and how it would look behind/next to the fridge. He said he could do a boarded rather than them ending behind, counted the boarded tiles to confirm we'd have enough. I liked the idea so he removed a few tiles he'd placed so there were no small pieces and i could tell how meticulous he was and how good it would look. I was impressed that he would take down completed work and redo, to make me happy and have his work look the best. We had worked with another contractor on our kitchen remodel and due to unresponsiveness and lack of attention, choose to have John do the back splash. When he was done, the work was impeccable and done in half the time. We wished we'd used him for the whole project!!! I will use John for future projects and recommend him to others.
I am writing this in regards to Ken and what a great job he did in replacing my ceramic tile flooring and walls in my bathroom. He was very conscientious and hard-working and very professional. I would highly recommend Ken and his company to do tile work; and will use him again in the future to install tiles.
Tom was really great. Good resource for choosing tile, grout and styles. Also did some other work, not just tiling for us and was great at that too.
Brice and his crew replaced the cast iron bathtub, wallboards, and shower doors with new items. They replastered a wall and replaced the towel racks. They replaced a medicine cabinet and installed a second cabinet. Finally, the redid the bathroom floor with ceramic tile.
Travis has been renovating our recently purchased home. He has done drywall patching and texture, installed bathroom fans with timers, installed ceiling fans, installed security lights and a security camera, installed a set of French doors in place of an existing window, created steps for them and installed the trim, replaced 8 interior doors including painting them, stained and installed two sets of closet doors, and installed trim. He has also done tiling, installing a railing between the kitchen and lower family room and renovating a basement including new basement windows, framing, electrical, insulation, and drywall. He has done customizations such as a laundry tub, corner shelving unit, and a in wall heater. Needless to say, Travis is highly skilled in many different areas/trades. He genuinely cares about his work and he offers a great price to do it. He is one of the nicest and personable contractors we've work with and we find him trustworthy and sincere. If you are looking for a high quality contractor for a fair price then look no further. We strongly recommend him and we will definitely work with him in the future. A+
So far we've had our family room completely tiled in "wood like" ceramic tiles, and it looks fantastic. The communication with this company was good, but the contractor they sent out to do the work was immaculate. He took such pride in his work, we couldn't be happier. The job took longer than expected, but in the words of the contractor "I could have done it in two days if I didn't care about my work". He really did care, and we love the end result.
Brandon installed cork flooring in our kitchen and we love it! From the start of this project, Brandon was prompt with his estimate, the removal of the old ceramic tile, and the installation of the new floor. He completed the difficult task of removing the old tile and installing the new flooring in less than 2 days! His attention to detail was outstanding and we were left with a kitchen that feels like new!!
Kent and his crew did a great job with our kitchen tile renovation. They were highly knowledgable about the product and the strategy to getting our job done right and they walked us through the details of the project at every phase. Great job overall!
