Wedding Coordination

Carla was absolutely wonderful! Prior to my wedding she responded to all of my emails/texts promptly (usually in less than an hour) and made herself available to help me with anything I needed. The week of my wedding she was great, she made sure that all details were taken care of and reminded me of items I had completely forgotten about (like additional decor, seating arrangements for my newly divorced parents, etc.). She was great at the rehearsal dinner making sure all wedding party knew exactly where to be at what time and answered all questions. She also carefully maneuvered family members to avoid any drama (my family has some issues) which was a MAJOR relief for me as I was very anxious about how family members would interact. On the actual wedding day we counted on Carla to decorate the entire venue with the decor we provided and she did a wonderful job! Her experience with weddings and photography shows because she knew exactly how and where to place decorations so that they would be showcased throughout the event. Once the ceremony/reception began, I was so thankful to have Carla. She kept everyone on schedule and made sure there were no issues. When our DJ went rogue (he was a really nice guy but did not follow ANY of our playlist suggestions...) she repeatedly made song changes and did her best to keep him in line (this was a full time job). She made sure the night went smoothly and everyone has been talking about how great she was. If you are looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator you should ABSOLUTELY hire Carla. Our wedding would have been very different if she had not been there to take care of all of the day of issues and I cannot recommend her enough!

Wedding Coordination

Carla was an amazing day of coordinator. She was in contact with us and helping organize everything well before the wedding. On the day of the wedding she handled everythi g from setup to vendor coordination. Our day ran totally smoothly thanks to her. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her.

Wedding Coordination

Absolutely incredible! we work in a high quality in standards company and Carla did far and beyond in order to keep our amazing wedding the way it was!. She helped us with all details that you would never see due the fact that your wedding is your first time doing something, and Carla is a necessary must! if you don't hire her, you will miss many wonderful and precious moments during your special day. She was motivated, and if you don;t hire her, believe me, it would be the biggest mistake ever!

Wedding Coordination

Carla was wonderful to work with for my day-of services. Our ceremony/reception venue experienced a number of issues and Carla was patient and responsive to these issues to help manage the situation. She was pleasant to deal with throughout the process and a joy to work with.

Carla was extremely thorough down to every last detail.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Although you can cover a lot of ground by emailing or speaking on the telephone, there is nothing like face to face contact. I always encourage potential clients to meet me for coffee. During an in-person meeting we are able to get to know each other better. Perhaps there is a chemistry there, or we find something we have in common. It also lets me get a better idea of what you desire for your celebration and how I might be able to make that happen.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have always loved entertaining, whether it be a family holiday celebration in my home or a birthday party for a loved one. One day I saw a friend talking about her upcoming wedding on Facebook. I reached out to her, and asked if she had a planner. She was the most amazing, detailed bride. She had everything laid out, all I had to do was execute it. The day after the wedding I woke up exhausted, but so excited. I knew that being an event planner was my calling. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love.
