Colleen and Nick made my reception AMAZING! Everything was just PERFECT and more. The lighting, the the laser projectors, etc. The music I picked out were played during my reception and I had several people come up to comment about how much they loved the music. Collen was very good at mixing and transitioning tracks from one to another. Also, both Colleen and Nick was such great help during my reception with setup. Both was EXTREMELY easy to work with leading up to as well as during my reception. I can't say enough to justify how I was so happy and satisfied with how my reception turned out. I am and will definitely refer and use their services again!

DJ Queen C is as good at it gets. I don't mean as it as it gets "for Denver" or as good as it gets for "weddings" - I mean, DJ Queen C (Colleen (DJ) and her husband Nick (MC) are as good as it gets for DJing and MCing any event anyone could ever consider having. Not only are they extremely professional, timely, and responsive (three things a Type A bride like me needs), but they are very talented. Forget the cheesy DJs with ugly matching cumberbuns. Nick is so smooth on the mic (he managed to be both authoritative, funny, and nonchalant), and Colleen is great at reading a room (she played my favorite songs, and managed to keep people on the dance floor)! The only time we had an empty floor was when she nobly played the weird songs I requested. When I told her to do her own thing, it was packed. True story. And Nick was very good at being flexible. I changed stuff up on him here and there - both with enough notice and within a moment's notice. And everything still went smoothly. I hired a wedding planner and even she said was only able to make the schedule move like it did because of Nick. While I'm not very picky about decorations or ambiance or colors matching, I was very focused on the schedule going on time, people being where they were supposed to be, and generally ordering people around. For context, I am a lawyer and extremely controlling :). I tell you this to underscore that I am very unforgiving when people aren't on their game. And these two were on the game. They won the game. I LOVED them. Their rates are amazing too. You simply can't go wrong with these two. After the fact, they sent me beautiful pictures too! I haven't seen my photography yet, so it was amazing to see the venue and even some of the wedding ceremony! They are so thoughtful and great. It was a wonderful experience.

They did an amazing job!!! If we could give a hundred stars, we would! My now husband and I gave Colleen and Nick a very vague description of what we were looking for because we had no idea what we were doing and they completely nailed it! They are extremely responsive, very easy to work with, and they really understand what it takes to succeed in this business. They literally managed to play all of our favorite songs and kept the party going all night! The MC and DJ services were exactly on point and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you so much, Colleen and Nick! You guys really hit this one out of the part and we appreciate everything you did to make our wedding absolutely perfect!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
About 125/event hour / which is already discounted for thumbtack, is all inclusive- and you get a DJ and separate MC :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After quote, we send a contract and questionnaire for your review and re-establish contact shortly after to see if client would like to reserve the date ( through deposit as 1 client event per day only ) , and move forward with us. Unlimited consultations to get to know the client and their ideas!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! We stay current through industry trade shows including NAMM in Anaheim, CA, and Serato Education.... My husband is also My MC, probably the only one you will interview that is certified in Communications from Harvard University
