Drum Lessons

Ryan is great - my son always enjoys their lessons together. He's a talented musician with a kind and approachable demeanor. He's responsive and reasonable in terms of scheduling and his rates. I would definitely recommend him.

Audio Recording

Ryan was great! He recorded a few songs of my daughter singing to be played in a slide show she's creating for her sister's graduation. This was the first professional recording experience my daughter has had and Ryan was great! He explained to her how the process worked and encouraged her when necessary. The finished recordings are awesome and it was a great experience! Thanks Ryan!

Drum Lessons

You couldn’t ask for more than a drum teacher. Not only is Ryan an excellent excellent drummer, and is actually out there in the real world drumming, but he is also patient, insightful and just plain fun. Can’t go wrong.

Drum Lessons

Ryan has been teaching my 7 year old for about a year now. He is down to earth, works wonderfully with kids, and pushes my son to his fullest potential. As well as being an excellent instructor, he is very pleasant and easy to work with. I would recommend Ryan to anyone!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Recording/Production Rates vary based on the project. Lesson Rates: $50 per hour lesson $30 per half hour lesson

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I get a new student I generally like to do a free 30 minute lesson to get a feel on how much experience they've had on the drums. If they're brand new, I have a beginner cirriculum that I like to follow. I really like the opportunity to find out about my student's musical tastes, then we begin learning whatever song they're into at the time. From there I create a weekly lesson plan for each student based on their wants/needs. I strive to help them achieve their goals, whether that's being able to jam with friends, perform live, prepare for a recording session, or prep for a college audition.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelors in Music Performance & Music Business. I've been recording myself and my peers for around 6 years. I have been playing drums for 18 years, toured throughout the US and have performed in a wide variety of acts ranging from Hip-Hop, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Pop, & Folk.
