I’ve had an amazing time studying drums with Ryan! He makes the lessons interesting and fun! I’ve learned a lot in our lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone out there trying to take their drumming to another level!!May 24, 2019
I decided to pick up drums as an adult a few years back and have been taking lessons with Ryan for over three years now. When I started, was an absolute beginner with no idea what to do behind a drum kit, but Ryan immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. I’ve grown immensely over the years, and I would highly recommend Ryan as a teacher for players at any and all skill levels!Jun 14, 2018
My son Cameron has been taking drum lessons from Ryan for a little over 6 months. He is very positive and kind, leaving my son with a smile on his face after every lesson. He even got us into one of his shows for free and brought us backstage! I would absolutely recommend Ryan as a drum teacher.Jun 7, 2018
I've been taking lessons with Ryan for nearly 2 years. What started out as a new hobby has become my obsession, DRUMS! I went from not being able to keep a beat to playing my favorite Zeppelin tunes with my friends. I can't speak more highly of Ryan and his ability to be patient with an old fart like me.Jun 7, 2018
Ryan gives drum lessons to my 9 year old son. He's great to work with and always has relevant lessons planned for my son. My kiddo enjoys the lessons and looks up to Ryan as a teacher because he's seen Ryan play shows!! Highly recommend Ryan as an instructor.Mar 10, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$50 per hour lesson $30 per half hour lesson I charge on a monthly basis, which is generally 4 lessons per month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I get a new student I generally like to do a free 30 minute lesson to get a feel on how much experience they've had on the drums. If they're brand new, I have a beginner cirriculum that I like to follow. I really like the opportunity to find out about my student's musical tastes, then we begin learning whatever song they're into at the time. From there I create a weekly lesson plan for each student based on their wants/needs. I strive to help them achieve their goals, whether that's being able to jam with friends, perform live, prepare for a recording session, or prep for a college audition.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bachelors in Music Performance & Music Business I have been playing drums for 18 years, toured throughout the US and have performed in a wide variety of acts ranging from Jazz, Rock, Metal, Pop, Folk and Hip-hop/Electronic.
