Dave was quick to respond with a clear estimate, great price, fast to schedule my work, came when he said, worked hard to do whatever the job required, finished on time, and was super fair and quick with final bill. What a true professional who finishes ahead of the rest of the pack. Thanks DaveNov 6, 2020Verified
Hired David to help out with some sound proofing measures for a wall in my office. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs remodel work.Jan 9, 2020Verified
I hired David to install 3 metal doors with frames at my residence. The original fiber doors needed to be removed and new dead-bolt locks installed with the all new steel doors. This might seem like a simple and straightforward thing to but there allot of adjustments to get right. David got them all right. All three doors were hung perfectly square and the new molding looked great. He was pleasant to talk with and acted professional the whole time he was here. He didn't leave any mess and took the old doors away for me. Tom. Fort Collins.Jan 4, 2017Verified
I had a new kitchen island installed. Dave was informative, thorough, very pleasant and enjoyable. He is now the first person I would ever call. Highly recommend!Aug 6, 2016Verified
Fence and Gate Installation
David removed our old fence and installed a new one plus two gates. He works solo and did a fantastic job! I was impressed!! Great craftsmanship and attention to detail. Very trustworthy and kept me updated daily. Highly recommend for any job.May 11, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Consultations are free. For a handyman appointment, I charge a flat rate of $150 for up to 2 hrs of work, and $50 an hour after that
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? With any job, I like to meet the customer in person and have them talk me through their goals for the project, and show me the site of the job so I can take initial measurements. If the job is extensive, I will make 3D renderings of the project and get further feedback from the customer before starting. In certain situations, I will include the cost of hiring an engineer to provide custom designs for large additions. Throughout the process, it is my goal to best translate the customers ideas into a real tangible product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have years of experience working in different manual labor capacities, however, my carpentry skills were honed and developed while apprenticing under a master carpenter in New England for two years.
