Tile Repair

Our project was complicated, as it started as a small tile job and ended up with a leak, a mold mitigation issue, ending in an entire bathroom remodel. We also had 2 drywall patches and paint done around the house, along with a small fix of a past poorly done plumbing job in the basement bathroom faucet. Rightway was great. Steve (owner) was very responsive and professional to start and bid the job, Zach (manager) was helpful coordinating and helping with all parts in a pinch, and Steve (painter was super helpful in staying super later the night before our Xmas party to do some paint repair). The rock star for us was Gabe Sarzoso. He started out as the tile guy, but quickly identified the issue was larger and communicated gently but honestly along the way. He worked with my wife to get her exactly the look she wanted , which included some complicated deco-wall tile. His former work at Home Depot also helped on pricing of other items he picked up, and he also repaired poor plumbing done in the bathroom from our last contractor that caused the leak in the first place. He found a way to endear himself to me, my wife, connected with both of my kids and my brother in law during his time in our home, and my 2 dogs loved him. And he knew everyone’s name and connected with them personally everyday on what was happening in their lives. That means a lot to me when you have someone in your house for multiple days. I can’t tell you how much of a joy he was to work with and have around my family. He even made sure to educate us through the process to help avoid issues in the future, which is rare for contractors I have come across. So even though the job became much larger than expected, it was communicated well and my wife ended up so happy with a brand new beautiful bathroom and we also were able to count on Rightway for the other smaller issues. Steve the owner is a really nice guy. He came out initially to look at the project (kitchen backsplash) before his associate started on the work. Then when a problem arose with proper cutting of the glass tile to fit small spaces he was called by his associate and showed up to correct the work right away. Anthony also did a great job of contacting Steve when there was an issue and correcting the problem. I love the way my backsplash looks!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We charge $50.00 if a job requires us to come out and do an estimate. We charge $65.00 per hour per tech and $30.00 an hour for a helper. We charge a $59.00 trip fee for any job less than three hours and there is a 1 hour minimum.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like to find out exactly what they need and let them know my prices and fees.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am currently studying for my general contractors license. All of my training and education has come from my background in the industry and many years of experience.
