We hired Nancy for my mother in law's 70th birthday. We had a small gathering of 10 at our house for a dinner party. The food was incredible, and Nancy was punctual, professional, and friendly. I would highly recommend her and will certainly use her again in the future.
Mary is amazing!!! I was impressed from my first conversation with her through the last! She was so incredibly organized and took all the stress off me for the day of. She brought my vision to life and really worked with me on what I did and did not want for the day of. She ran and managed the rehearsal which was such a blessing! She took charge and made sure we all knew where we needed to be- and if you knew my bridal party was very much needed and appreciated! She allowed us to have unlimited phone calls/emails/in person emails. She also drove down to see me and the venue on multiple occasions which was amazing! Her team on the day of was also incredible! They kept us on time without being pushy or overwhelming. They worked so well with the venue and vendor staff as well. My wedding day would NOT have been the same without her. Thank you Mary!!

John was the DJ for my husband and I's wedding in January 2015. We could not have asked for a better experience - John was on time, he was knowledgeable and he really got the party started!!! He took control of the wedding party before the grand march and got everyone situated and ready for their entrance. John also did our ceremony sound, which was great - we appreciated having someone with his experience running that portion of the day as well.
We found Raindrops on Roses after a lot of searching for event planners on Facebook. We wanted to plan a Prince themed first birthday party for our son and were looking for somebody who has done similar themed parties before and after seeing the work that Sangeetha had done we decided to get in touch with her. Right from our first meeting she put us at ease about the planning. She took care of everything that was needed for the party - from the decorations to the food. We just chose the location for the party and Sangeetha and her team did the rest. Everyone who attended the party were impressed by the way the decorations were put in place for the Prince theme, everything from the backdrop to the goody bags were done beautifully. The food was excellent too, and was greatly appreciated. The party was a big hit and a huge success. Thank you Sangeetha for all your efforts in making this party a memorable event for our family. In vogue Events went above and beyond for my wife's surprise 40th birthday party. Lata really took to the tome to understand what we wanted and definitely delivered. Her contacts in the industry helped make everything go smoother. The attention to detail was impeccable from small things like napkins to the decor of the facility Lata knocked it out of the park. Lata took all the stress out of the party planning and brought a calm sense that is needed when the party day arrives. I literally had to show up Lata took care of everything. Ive had multiple people compliment me on the party and I tell them thanks but Lata needs and deserves all the credit. She is great and we hope to utilize her services again for our next party.
Princess was the DJ and emcee at our wedding. She did an absolutely phenomenal job! She let us know exactly what was going to be happening next which allowed the reception to run so smoothly. She was so much fun and her energy radiated throughout the whole venue. She was so flexible and even stayed an hour later than our agreed upon time. She played great music and danced with us. My favorite part of the night was when I asked her to help me dance and she spun me around the room. For 5 minutes I felt like I actually knew what I was doing! After our reception we heard lots of feedback from our guests as well. Everyone wanted to know who Princess was and how we found her. Everyone was so impressed with the evening! I highly recommend princess and her entertainment company to anyone who is looking to have a stress free and fun evening. She made our whole night one to remember!
My daughter lives in Florida and wanted to get married in her home state of Colorado. I found Trenda with Unique Moments Event Planning on Thumbtack. Trenda was easily accessible and very professional. She met with me immediately. She did not impose her ideas on us and willingly listened to and incorporated our ideas and theme. She had great ideas to make our wants and needs better. She handled all of the coordination with the venue and vendors with ease and accomplishment. I contacted multiple wedding coordinators about 7 months before my wedding and Cheryl Lynn responded to my email within 20 minutes (some coordinators didn't get back to me for a week!) with a detailed list of services she could provide and a very reasonable price. It was her professionalism and enthusiasm that convinced me that she would be the best fit for our wedding. And I was right! Even though I only contracted her for day-of-wedding service, she met with me and my fiance several times, even walking through the venue with us and attending the dress rehearsal. She promptly and patiently answered every phone call and email I sent her, even if it was about something trivial like linens or programs. I came to value her experience and advice so much when negotiating vendors and creating the perfect day. On the day of the wedding, Cheryl Lynn and her staff at An Essential Event were on their game and oversaw so many small details that I was amazed they remembered everything I asked them to take care of - from water bottles for my bridal party to gratuities for my vendors. They were so thoughtful and boxed up some leftovers for my husband and me to take back to our honeymoon suite. The only ripple in the day was that the centerpieces were upside down (to be fair, it was a difficult design feature to assemble), but nobody really noticed except my sister who had purchased them for me. Every one of my guests said they had enjoyed the day, and I can't imagine that it would have been so smooth without Cheryl Lynn and her staff. I truly would have paid three times what I did for this exceptional service, and I wish I had more engaged friends in Denver - I would send them to her in a heartbeat!
Gloria was an amazing planner. She listened to everything we wanted and made sure that our day went as smooth as possible. She was there to direct the wedding party and guests and well as be sure each part of the wedding went as planned. She is also just a joy to work with. One of the sweetest women you can meet. Very personable and makes you feel comfortable while working with her. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding planner! We loved her work!

Crystal was exactly what I was looking for, for my wedding day! I hired her for the day of the wedding coordinator. She was very responsive right from the beginning. She is very personable and easy to talk to, I felt comfortable with her right from the get go! She was always checking in on me to see how the wedding planning was going, and if I needed help with anything. She came to our rehearsal so that she could see the venue, meet the bridal party, and get an idea for how we wanted everything set up for the wedding day. She took care of everything on my wedding day that I didn't want to have to think about. She literally made me feel like a guest at my own wedding! When I was ready to walk down the aisle everything was absolutely perfect! And she is such a sweetheart, and keeps a calm positive attitude through all the stress! Organized a play-off viewing party while visiting Denver and needed to feed about 15 people. Ordered pretty last minute and they were able to accommodate without any issues. The chili is really good!
Ruben helped us celebrate a special birthday party with friends in our home. The dinner turned out just right, with a range of flavorful, crowd-pleasing sauces to add that extra something. What really made the night was that Ruben was a great partner, collaborating to create a menu that fit our occasion. I was very comfortable leaving our kitchen in his capable hands so that we could enjoy the evening! It was a memorable occasion thanks to a fantastic meal!

Letting go of the reins has never been my strong suit but Melanie with Kimberly Rose events put my mind at ease and completely blew me away with her vision and the results of her creativity. She planned, prepared and orchestrated a private birthday party for me, and also helped me host a private event at my home this last year. From brainstorming together, all the way to the day of the event, Melanie had the both events completely handled. All I had to do was give her my (very jumbled) ideas and answer some questions and she cranked out two of the best parties I've ever hosted! I used Emilia Noullet's private chef services for a small dinner party at my home. She was very professional and personable throughout the evening. The dishes she prepared were wonderfully aromatic with complex flavors. We will not soon forget the incredible dessert!

By coincidence, I just happened to have attended 2 parties coordinated by In The Event and Elyse Boule. Both parties were PHENOMENAL! What made them so special? The attention to detail with the planning, the food, the drinks, the decor, the entertainment and the overall vibe. Elyse truly has a knack for understanding what the client loves, what they don't love, and how to make it a memorable experience. The first party was an outdoor graduation party at a private residence (~60 people); the second was an indoor Kentucky Derby Party at a private residence (~30 people). First, the person being honored at the outdoor graduation party loves Cajun food so Elyse arranged for a New Orleans Food Truck to serve up New Orleans cuisine for all the guests right on location (absolutely delicious AND smart - no kitchen clean-up for the host!). She worked with the food truck to design a menu that was adult and kid-friendly. She obtained all the necessary permits for a food truck to stay parked in the neighborhood. She hired a bartender who specializes in making southern-style cocktails (also delicious and smart - no one had to serve themselves). Not only did she arrange the food truck and bartender, she also found a New Orleans-style jazz band to provide entertainment for all the guests. It was a blast! I truly felt like I was on Bourbon Street that night! She mastered the New Orleans theme, just what the client wanted. It was perfect, despite a freak rain storm. Of course, she planned for that too and had already had a tent and heaters out. I did not expect this at a house party. I was expecting a sandwich tray-white sheet cake and balloons graduation party snooze-fest. NOT A CHANCE! Everyone had a blast, no one batted an eye despite the short burst of bad weather and all the guests, including the band, kept on rockin'. The second party was a Kentucky Derby party (indoor). She coordinated a "Best Derby Hat" contest for the ladies and kids, and provided cute prizes for the winners. The food was all Kentucky-inspired, as were the drinks. Each drink glass (in mason jars - perfect!) were labeled with a horse's number so that drinks wouldn't get mixed up. Similar to the first party I attended, it was so clear that this girl pays close attention to the clients' needs/wants and her attention to detail is impeccable. (I hear that she will be planning a wedding for a client soon, and I want to go just for the party even thought I don't know the bride and groom.) There is no doubt in my mind who I will use when I throw my next party, whether it's big or small. I am so glad I found her - you will too!!! Thank you In The Event and Elyse!!!
