I am not sure what I can write to do justice to the amazing level of support Sarah has provided us with over the last few weeks. We bought a new house. We were scared of what lay ahead of us. Endless hours of imagining spaces, filled with stuff we were not sure we loved, in colors we were not sure worked, so many questions. Agh! But we found Sarah in this amazing little Thumbtack marketplace. And she converted our fear into excitement, into a journey of self discovery and adventure. Yes! It turns out designing a space can be an exciting adventure. Sarah is: - The right mix of free flowing ideas vs more assertive direction when we needed it - Reliable. She promises, then she delivers. Always - Not transactional. She cares. She shows that, in every interaction. She does not disappear at the end of the project - Extremely organized. She has a process. You can tell from the very first minute in the first conversation. And she sticks to it. Giving you peace of mind that if you follow it you’ll get to a great place - Resourceful. She doesn’t give up. She doesn’t stop until things work they way they need to. Sometimes that means 2 rounds of select decisions. Sometimes it means 4. And she is always positive, always listening to what you need We have done about half of our new home with Sarah. Not more, because we get easily overwhelmed. We have ordered most items and are extremely excited to see them coming together over the next few weeks. And that’s not the end of the journey. When we are ready to design more rooms, we know we’ll want to work with Sarah again. I couldn’t recommend Dillon Design more! Sarah was amazing to work with. We worked together with her in a design decision consultation. She helped me whip through decision making on location of lights, skylights, kitchen island layout, island placement, cabinet color, material for counter top, tile selection, which off-white to use on the walls and more! Sarah is a clear communicator, professional, prompt and has a great way of guiding decisions and asserting input when she thinks is best. I would be a bundle of stress without all of the amazing decisons we accomplished in a very efficient manner. I will be leaning on Sarah for any and all future design decisions. Now that I know how easy and painless this can be, I wish I had done it years ago. Thank you, Sarah!

Dillon Designs made my house a home! So professional, responsive, and able to communicate a clear vision for transforming my space. We were challenged with storage and cohesion in our small kitchen. We love to cook and need a space that is functional and gorgeous. Sarah managed to take our vision and make it a reality! Our kitchen is now our favorite room in our home.

When moving into my new home I had a lot of ideas of how I wanted it to look but didn’t know how to make it a reality. Enter Sarah, she was incredibly patient with me as she took my ideas and elevated them to the next level. Sarah was a delight to work with. From our first interaction, she was professional, listened to us (!!), was super organized and talked us through every step of the process so there were no surprises. Right when we moved into our new house, we knew we'd need help elevating the interior design, however, we wanted to keep old family heirlooms and sentimental pieces and mix them with a new, modern aesthetic. She came back with several options that blew us away! Not only was she able to incorporate the old heirlooms in a thoughtful way, she found great pieces that complimented them so the house feels cohesive and elevated. I'm so happy we found & hired her. She has great taste, a great eye for design and solid problem solving skills.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My pricing is dependent on the size and scale of the project. I am currently offering a discounted rate as I build up my Denver-based clients having recently relocated from NYC. When building project scopes there are three components: 1) Cost of Goods, 2) Project Fee, 3) Project Discounts. All line items are reviewed in detail / agreed upon before any transactions take place.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    My process is simple and flexible. It begins with a Project Brief so both parties are clear on the deliverables, budget and timeline. From there we move into the creative process: Space and Belongings Audit, Design System Curation + Alignment, Room Selects, Buying, Delivery, Staging and Styling. Depending on the size and scale of project, budget and client preferences this process maybe as collaborative or condensed accordingly.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    With over 10 years experience designing spaces for some of the world’s most iconic brands, I am turning my focus inside the home, helping clients transform their Spaces into Sanctuaries. Although I’m not a licensed interior designer, my role as VP, Group Creative Director for one of the country’s largest creative / experience design agencies I’ve done the job, 10 fold, 100+ times. From ideation to art direction, set design (for film and photography) to production and everything in-between, I’m confident my skillset translates from out in the world to inside your home.
