Tyler was phenomenal from start to finish. He turned my vision into a reality and now we have our dream backyard! He did everything including, but not exclusive to building a retaining wall, backfilling the backyard and leveling it out, installing a fence and gates, auditing and ensuring my aging sprinkler system is working its best by replacing and moving sprinkler heads, & installed a weed mat and crushed rock within edging. We plan on using him again and couldn’t recommend him more. I mean look at the results.

Initially hired Tyler for a small backyard project. I was happy with the workmanship, so I hired him again for a larger front yard landscaping project.
Tyler was patient in working through the project requirements and has a good crew that works with him. For the front yard project, I took the day off and went with Tyler to the nursery to select the trees and plants. Throughout the project he generally communicated well, answered questions, and shared useful landscaping knowledge.
The quality of the finished work met my expectations, and the yard looks much better as a result.
The reason for the 4-star rating rather than 5 stars is that the plant exchange policy was not clearly explained to me beforehand, which led to some confusion. I would have appreciated more discussion about the selected spruce tree before planting. When I later noticed it had a Y-shaped top, I was unsure whether it was a defect. Tyler's crew explained the following day that it can be corrected by pruning to a single central leader next spring (the left-most in the photo which is the thickest).
Overall, Tyler delivered good-quality work, was professional to deal with, and I would consider hiring him again for future landscaping projects.

Bulldog was on the job!!! Professional and really diligent. They also gave us some creative ideas on some items - didn't feel like they were trying to upsell us, but rather ways to make the job look nicer. We really liked working with them and their work product.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide a $500 referral fee on successfully landed projects. I also offer a 5% senior citizen discount.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would meet on site to do a walk through of their vision for the project. I would create and send an estimate to the client within 2-3 business days. We would then review everything together to define an agreed upon scope of work and cost, which would be put in a contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in landscaping for 6 years now. I have worked in every facet of residential landscaping and have worked for both large and small landscaping companies in Colorado.
