- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I love continuing education courses. 60 CEU credits are needed to maintain NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certification per four year period. I easily exceed that requirement, and regularly further my health care studies on my own.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While studying and teaching yoga, I became very interested in the body's innate healing potential. After suffering a spinal injury, I was treated with Eastern medicine, when nothing else helped. Chinese medicine often offers options to people who have been told that there is nothing that can be done. I found this incredibly inspiring, and want to help people find solutions for their problems.
