Hello! I'm Paul with High Peak Education. I am passionate about your success in school, and learning as a way of life. I have tutored university, college, and high school students for 15 years with great success. In addition, I served for 7 years as an Adjunct Professor at Front Range Community College in Mathematics, Physics, and Meteorology. As part of The University of Colorado, I fulfilled the role of Teaching Assistant for physics, Energy & the Environment, Atmospheric Science, and Atmospheric Science Laboratory. I have also tutored collegiate student athletes. I can help you any math from basic math, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, or even business math or applied math. I have taught and tutored students in numerous courses from multiple textbooks, instructors, and software platforms. I can help students know how to approach a math problem. I can assist you with any high school or college level physics course! AP Physics, conceptual, algebra-based, and calculus-based all apply. I have assisted many students to understand science concepts, calculations, display of data, computer programming, scientific writing, and scientific reports. I can help you in Statistics, no matter what level you are taking. I am highly experienced and skilled at anything Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Weather, Climate Change, etc. I am proficient at MATLAB and can help you with this computing language. Roger has been doing so much better in Geometry! I was pleasantly surprised to receive recordings of the online sessions to see the progress first hand. You won't find a tutor with better technology.

Honestly, I don't think I would have passed my certification without High Peak Education. Paul was amazing - seriously so patient with me even though I probably asked a million questions. He never made me feel dumb or rushed, which was huge for me. I was really struggling with some of the material and getting pretty stressed about the test, but Paul just had this way of explaining things that finally made it click. He didn't just throw information at me - he actually made sure I got it before moving on. The whole experience was way better than I expected. I actually felt prepared going into my test instead of just hoping for the best. And I passed! If you're thinking about using them for your certification prep, definitely do it. Paul knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping you succeed. Can't ask for much more than that.

He was understanding. He listened, gave input, got to know my son and his needs. He was flexible and gave feedback. He communicated effectively and took time to not only help for present needs but helped to cover gaps from past and needs for future as needed. He is an excellent tutor. Gets his student involve and wants their opinions. He is patient and easy to communicate with. He is prompt in getting g back with and reaching out when needed. I cannot expressive deepest and sincere gratitude. My son learned a lot from me and was always eager for his lessons. Planned on keeping Paul for the next semesters.

High Peak Education is definitely worth it! The semester math class was moving at a quick pace. Our son was falling behind and struggling. Paul helped fill in the gaps, and give our son the confidence he needed to pass pre-calculus. Paul is patient, knowledgeable, and was able to help break down barriers our son had, to get through the class. It was easy to schedule tutoring, for in person or online tutoring. They have been very accommodating to our son’s busy schedule. So glad we chose High Peak Education.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is negotiable depending upon the situation. Discounts come about if you are 1) closer to my home office, 2) tutor virtually instead of in-person, 3) tutor with more than one student, 4) book multiple tutoring sessions in a package
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take 1 to 2 sessions to ask diagnostic questions to assess your level of understanding. I then estimate the effort and cost to get you to the level of understanding you want to acheive.
