Fed by Kiwi offers a highly personalized experience. Kim's approach is individualized based on your own nutritional needs and habits, and she truly meets you where you're at. She aims to educate rather than to simply please you, and is very knowledgeable in this regard. I received a personalized nutritional assessment and subsequent advice on how to achieve my goals. Being a vegetarian, I have come to expect a little difficulty in figuring out exactly what would work for me, but Kim had no trouble telling me precisely which foods I needed to adapt to my lifestyle. Performing her art, Kim was humble, personal, and affordable to boot. She even teaches cooking, and was quite patient with my kindergarten-level vegetable chopping skills. Fed By Kiwi is an exemplary service in the world of nutritional consulting and I recommend that anyone interested in improving their knowledge and habits regarding food try it out.

Kim is an excellent teacher. She showed up very prepared for the lesson, and is accessible for follow up questions when ever I have them. She took the time to explain everything we cooking in terms I could understand.

Kim is amazing! She took the time to really get to know me and understand where my goals are at. She gave me AMAZING recipes that fit my fast-and-quick lifestyle. Kim also was (and still is) available 24/7 for me to ask last minute questions about both nutrition and exercise. I never felt as though I was hassling her. I always felt as though she truly cared and wanted to help. Seriously - she is THE BEST!! Highly recommend!

It's still a fairly new experience but thus far she has been extremely accommodating for a fantastic price. She does keep in touch and doesn't treat you like a diet statistic, instead she offers understanding for the bad habits and offers a good alternative.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will set up a meeting wherever the client feels comfortable, and provide an overall health and nutritional assessment that focuses in on the clients specific goals. I am here for you, and want to make this process as easy and painless as possible. I can also come to your kitchen and teach you a few recipes in the comfort of your own home.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelors degree in exercise physiology, and am about to complete a Master's degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Colorado. I have a background as a personal trainer, and am now a farmer and teach cooking classes along side of nutrition. I have an approach that is comprehensive and focuses on eating habits as a lifestyle and not a short-term change

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been passionate about people and food, and this career allows me to combine the two and work with people to help them reach their goals with nutrition and fitness.
