With over 8 years of experience in the service industry, I have been given the privilege to mentor & teach friends, family, and hopefully the like-audience in your life! I have spent my years in the industry gaining knowledge and experience in every department of restaurants, catering centers and venues, and everything in-between. This includes the kitchen itself, prepping, cleaning, cooking, training & leading, bartending, serving, & the support/bar backing that comes with it, and everything else the prior suggests!
My service is dedicated to nurturing and fanning the flame in anyone who has a passion for service, cooking, drink slinging, or anything of the sort. Hone existent skills and teach new ones, give interpersonal one on one sessions to strengthen perspective and set goals, and make the days of anyone who wants to feel a little more importance or specialty in their lives.
Private cooking lessons, dates or other specific events, fill ins, training, or just a partner in arms for some time, I offer it all! Just reach out and I will gladly converse on your needs and what I can do for you!

Hired on Thumbtack
Chef Huggins has been responsive and able to assist us with our needs. His creativity is what was needed for a young college student away from home. Also, his culinary skills are up to par. I am grateful for Thumbtack for this connection.

I had the pleasure of hiring Marques Huggins as my personal chef for a special breakfast, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! From start to finish, Marques made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. He arrived at my home with a warm, welcoming attitude and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
The breakfast he prepared was absolutely divine! He crafted a delicious spread of freshly made dishes that included a variety of flavors and textures — from perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and crispy bacon to fluffy pancakes and golden-brown hashbrowns. Every dish was prepared with such care and attention to detail, and the flavors were impeccable. What truly set it apart, though, were the breakfast cocktails. Marques served up a refreshing and creative twist on the traditional mimosa, and the entire meal was paired perfectly with them.
Not only did he take the time to explain the dishes and ingredients he was using, but he also made sure to leave the kitchen spotless afterward. I was amazed by his professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create a truly relaxing and luxurious experience. The entire morning felt like a special treat, and I highly recommend Marques Huggins for anyone looking to elevate their next meal. I’ll definitely be booking him again!

What a delight this young man is! He cooked for my family, a dish called “Eggs in Purgatory”. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but he served it with professionalism and ease. I highly recommend marquese Huggins. Bring your expectations. You will not be disappointed.

Working with Marquese has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Marquese had mentored me for several months, and he was incredibly attentive and displayed a great deal of patience and understanding towards me. At the same time, he also was pushing me and helping me strive towards greatness, and the results of my work with him spoke for themselves.
He also is vastly knowledgeable when it comes to interacting with people and knowing both how to make good food and how to cater to people with his excellent cooking skills. He has been valuable in both increasing my own knowledge of cooking while also being a great boss and mentor. Highly recommend!

Very professional but also personable. Very impressed with his knowledge and skill in media production and management as well as his cooking skills. He made the subject of discussion clear and easy to understand even for someone with very little experience in the media landscape.
