FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I realized, at an early age that the way to de-stress was to declutter. This led me to think that if organizing helps relieve stress in my own life, that it can do the same for others! I have eleven years of experience organizing programs for various nonprofit organizations. Using my innate organizing skills, I have built programs from the ground up making each one successful. Every job I have held has required different skills, but all have utilized my exceptional organizing abilities. Through my experience, I have learned that sometimes we just need to look at things from a different angle to learn what works best for us.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work on every part of the home or office, from closets to kitchens and basements to supply rooms. I also help clients declutter before a move and unpack and organize once their in a new space.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked with a woman who was moving to another state. She had boxes and boxes of things she had been moving from place to place and wanted to finally go through everything and only move what she needed. When we opened the boxes we found unopened mail dating back to the 90s. She did all of her bill-paying online and wasn't sure what to do with all the paper statements, so she threw them into boxes and closed up the box when it was full. After we talked about the best way to get rid of everything, we ended up with 15 boxes of shredding and close to 20 boxes of recycling...and a very happy client who swore she would never hold onto another unnecessary piece of mail again!
