Jon Wirtz Music

As an experienced, working musician who is offering piano and keyboard lessons, I am now accepting students. Being well versed in all styles, I can play and can teach everything, from blues, to rock, jazz, funk, pop, etc. I have played for more than 24 years, and I've been teaching for the past 5 years. Over my career thus far, I have worked extensively as a studio musician. I've played gigs all over the country, in arrangements, from solo piano to a 30+ piece band and in venues, from dive bars to national TV (The Late Show with David Letterman, Ellen, and CBS Early Show). Together, we can build upon your strengths while improving upon other areas of your playing on which you'd like to improve. All in all, I am a firm believer that learning music can and should be fun, whether you're an experienced pro who's looking to get a little better or a beginning musician. Otherwise, what's the point? I am available in the Denver metro and surrounding areas. I teach from my home studio, but I may be willing to travel for a small additional fee to account for gas expenses.
