- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $60 per hour. My rate includes the travel time to get to the home of the student, where the lessons occur. Sometimes I discount my lesson fees when I have vacant time slots.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send a quote after reading what each customer is hoping to find. If the customer request fits my skills I sincerely believe in my musical gifts enough to offer my excellent services. When a customer responds back, I politely call or email them to continue a conversation guiding us to a first lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I continue to study musical works. There is a constant learning of new music, some of it learned for the purpose of performing in public, other works learned just to satisfy my joy of music at home. To keep up with new developments open to a piano teacher, I look over music store's inventory on a regular basis
