FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We frequently perform regular residential home structural repair/remodel investigations and prefer to price in a single lump sum fee for an identifiable/tangible receipt of our report and attached drafted sketch illustration of the proposed design provisions. We do see the need to price for recurring visits and hourly rate communication. We pride on providing discrete and identifiable solutions to solve and help facilitate your next project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Phone call to identify potential need for structural investigation, initial scope of services you (the homeowner) are looking for. Set a time to meet in person and evaluate the existing framing configuration of the home and discuss the viability of the proposed change or repair. 2. Meet on site or at the home to conduct such a consultation and offer insights, such as: engineering options, alternative solutions, and next steps insights with respect to each relevant jurisdiction. 3. Prepare draft copy of letter for review along with a prepared billing. 4. Upon acceptance of the letter and clear/itemized billing we are prepared to provide the stamped and signed letter for use in requesting construction bids and submitting to the appropriate authority having jurisdiction.
