- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally was a project manager for a very large corporation. I loved being the go to person and loved the organization of the job. I just wanted a happier venue to complete it in. I chose Wedding planner. It was just the right fit. It allowed me to coordinate, plan, do contract negotiations, and deal with designers of all types. It also allowed me to use my team building and delegation skills to bring the event to a wonderful ending. Wedding planning from start to finish is the best fit for my abilities. I have had more opportunities to network and fulfill my dreams as well as others in this job.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know your budget. The way to get what you want is to be positive about exactly how much you want to spend and don't go over it. There are so many creative ways to get the wedding of your dreams, and that is where I come in. I can offer all kinds of suggestions and alternatives to get that "special look" you have in mind.
