Rachel is originally a Portland, ME native and recently relocated to Denver, CO. Her primarily focus in voice is crossover singing in both Music Theatre and Classical styles. Her most recent accomplishment was singing Clorinda in Rossini’s, La Cenerentola with FIO Italia Opera Festival in Urbania, Italy this past summer.
Her Music Theatre credits include roles in Regional and Equity companies primarily based in the Midwest and East Coast, as well as a National Touring Company. Her Classical work includes principal role study and choir work with Opera and Light Opera Companies on the East Coast, as well as festival work, concert series and competition's in both styles.
She holds a Bachelors of Music concentration in Voice with the University of Southern Maine and is working towards her Masters in Speech Pathology
Her private voice studio is based out of Denver Music Insititute and in addition to this holds a faculty position with them.
Rachel believe's strongly in cultivating student lead lessons with their goals in mind. She aims to share her own passion of singing and knowledge of pedagogy in lessons to help students create and maintain a healthy and dynamic voice.
