Kat Bartell is the perfect blend of spunk, passion, comfort and inspiration. Her classes keep me challenged as well as motivated to grow physically and mentally. I love how she incorporates her knowledge of yoga, Pilates, nutrition, massage and multiple other talents into creating an experience that is about a lifestyle. You don't take a Kat Bartell class to get a workout. You take a Kat Bartell class to expand what is possible in life!

Chellee is an amazing masseuse. I have literally cried tears of joy with the release of pain in my mid back from her work. She has a great deep massage and I have even tried to foot massage on my back. Not sure what that is called, but that is amazing. I will definitely be back!

It was a pleasure receiving a session from Beth at Liquid Mind💜 During our Reiki session I could feel the energy moving throughout my entire body. I felt a sense of relaxation and balance. It was amazing! I felt safe and comforted. I also experienced her Yoga & meditation. It was a great class. I slept so well after and had much less anxiety! She is a natural healer and a wonderful to be around. I will definitely be back!

I adored taking Yoga with Eleanor, she was calm clear and visual. Her classes always suit her students, even if a mixed bunch of abilities! When she left the South Bay area to return home, I cancelled my membership at the club where she was teaching, as I didn't find the other teachers as good. If you're very lucky she might even play her flute at the end of class for the relaxation part :-)

Katrina Kopeck has an incredible ability of making people feel at ease. Her intelligent banter and sequencing always made for an enjoyable class- while her ability to connect with students and make the practice accessible for all is the reason I knew I had to have her teach in my studio, Amana Yoga.

About

Being a Colorado native, Lara was always drawn to an active and athletic lifestyle. Lara was introduced to yoga in a high school dance class and she knew instantly that it was an intricate piece of her life's path. She was intrigued and mystified by the complexity of the human body and the study of its movement. In 2005, Lara began her studies in massage therapy at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, where she currently works in Boulder as a therapist. As the result of a shoulder injury, her dedication to yoga grew more and more. Compelled to immerse herself in its study, she completed the CorePower teacher training in 2008 and began masterfully weaving her experience as a bodyworker and yoga practitioner. Lara's classes convey the depth that she has discovered within yoga that goes far beyond the physical Asana practice. Lara creates a beautiful rhythm of meditation and healing by aligning the breath and focusing the mind with the movement of the physical body. "Because the practice has affected me so profoundly, it is a joy and honor to share its benefits through teaching." Recently, Lara has expanded her knowledge beyond Power Vinyasa and Hot Yoga to teach Yin Yoga and Partner Yoga by the fall of 2009. - Private and group yoga classes: Vinyasa flow, hot yoga, yin yoga, and partner yoga. - Therapeutic massage: Floor and table shiatsu, full-body Swedish massage, chair massage, sports massage, polarity therapy, deep tissue, neuromuscular energy techniques, Thai massage, and integrative massage.

About

Private instruction is useful for developing a home practice and for learning to adapt group class postures to serve your individual needs. It is especially beneficial for individuals who want to practice yoga at home or those who have special health concerns or injuries. Each lesson is tailored to your unique interests and needs. Our private clients typically have one of three goals: * Home Practice Development Students frequently want to practice yoga more often than they can come to group classes. Practicing at home is a useful and cost effective supplement to group classes at the studio. A home practice consultation includes evaluation of your personal goals, strategizing how to make your practice consistent, and a written practice plan. Shaw will guide you through the practice once, so you leave familiar with how to practice on your own safely and effectively. Home practice consultations are most effective when done in conjunction with group yoga classes. * Personalized Yoga Coaching Group class students frequently benefit from personalized help to deepen their yoga practice. Coaching sessions include feedback on how to properly perform yoga postures and adaptations for the client's individual goals and body. Students who have attended coaching sessions report that the sessions help them make huge strides in improving their yoga practice. * Special Needs Instruction Some individuals have needs that are not met by group classes. Shaw works one on one with students who have a variety of needs. Examples of past client issues include: • Stress management • Sports training • Managing menopausal symptoms • Arthritis and other acute and chronic physical injuries About Shaw: Shaw Lathrop is a certified yoga instructor who has been practicing and teaching yoga for the past ten years. Shaw draws from many yoga traditions which allows him to craft lessons to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. He places a large emphasis on having fun while practicing yoga and loves offering yoga students the opportunity to "break out of the box" with their practice. In addition to being a certified yoga instructor, Shaw is also a certified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, and ayurvedic lifestyle counselor. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in ayurvedic medicine.
