Chris was an AMAZING DJ for our wedding. You can tell he loves his job and making people happy. He thought of things I would not have, and most importantly, got people on the dance floor. Throughout the night i heard people saying, "I love this song!" and he totally hit our tastes right. Not to mention, the price was right. We were going to originally just do an ipod wedding and I'm so so so grateful we didn't and that we chose Spark.Dec 13, 2018VerifiedSpark Event Services's reply
Thank you so much Joanna! Everything turned out perfect, even with the cold weather! I'm glad that you chose me as your DJ and not an iPod, haha! Congratulations!
We had Chris dj our union picnic. It could not have been better. In the history of our union, we have never had music at any of our events. Chris played exactly what we requested and it was a fantastic addition to our event. Chris was professional and courteous at all times. The BBQ was good, but the music was better! We have over 450 members and they were very pleased with the selection and the volume of the music. Thank you Chris.Sep 22, 2016Verified
Hands down the greatest vendor choice we made for our big day! He stayed in contact with us and was responsive when questions came up. At our pre-wedding meeting he made great suggestions and really made our big day even more special. He brought a new twist to things that I haven't seen at other weddings we have been to. Not only was he amazing at the wedding and kept the party going, but he also saved the day afterwards! Our videographer had missed the reception and we thought that all of our speeches were just gone and only something we would have in our memories, but Chris saved the day and had audio files of all of our speeches! I have never cried so hard from happiness when he told me he had the audio of the speech I made to my dad. If you want a DJ who truly cares about his clients and wants your day to be special, then look no further!Mar 20, 2018Verified
Chris was a great DJ he answered all of our questions before and during the wedding. When his website went down for maintenance we received an email before it started and after it finished which was very courteous. He had some great ideas about things we could do at the wedding and was great at directing the wedding party on what they needed to do. His website was very easy to use and when he didn’t have a song we wanted he made sure to get it for us.Nov 12, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a standard pricing system, and for weddings and corporate events, it is a flat fee of $750 for a DJ, and $1,000 for a DJ and a photo booth. For smaller events, such as birthdays and barbeques, I charge an hourly rate. In all of my services, I always include everything I offer, to provide the most entertainment to the client that I can and keep the process simple.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We confirm the date is available and make sure the client's needs can be met. Then, we present our offer with everything we provide for less than most. If our offer meets the client's budget, we schedule a meeting to make sure we are a good fit, and go over the event in more detail. If everything feels right and the client wants to proceed forward, we email a contract with all the details and collect a deposit to secure the date. We continue to work with the client to meet the needs of the event and make sure all the details are perfected. We perform at the event, and keep in contact in case they have future events or recommendations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a DJ, and I learned hands-on under another professional DJ back in 2008, and he taught me how to perform and entertain for about 3 years before I went on my own. The rest of my knowledge came from experience.
