Students can expect to learn how to play along to music! Camden teaches all styles and has a large library of music that can be played to and recorded to in the lesson studio. That's right, you can take home a recording of you playing the drums over music!
Students will also be provided with customized lesson plans and lesson material. Everyone learns differently, and lesson plans will be curated to the students learning style and interests.

I am so loving my drum lessons with Cam! He's an excellent teacher. I started playing drums a few years ago and was lucky to get into a band. I was doing 'ok' but I knew I needed some lessons to truly get better and feel more confident. I met Cam in the music store and asked if he thought I could make progress on some very specific things, since I'm starting later in life. He really listened and I have loved each an every lesson. I have definitely improved and I'm not stopping. It's too much fun! There's a real art to it all - much like my experience with martial arts - and Cam can 'Zen' it up for me. I guess I'm finding that drum lessons and my own motivation to practice regularly what's covered in each class has been a mental health and well-being boost. I'm getting compliments on how well I'm playing and I feel more confident and have a better time performing. Thanks Cam!

I am guitarist that has a drum set and decided to finally take the plunge and really learn how to play. Cam has shown me the way. Within a month I am playing to sheet music and has turned my potential to something kinetic. With an instrument that was once abstract is now making sense. Cam is patient and pleasant, he knows the different modals of teaching, which he tailors to the individual. It is not one size fits all. I highly recommend taking lessons with him if you want to learn right way. Thanks Cam.

If you are looking for a drum teacher, Cam is awesome! He's great at tailoring lessons to what you need, and has a nice balance of mixing hard work with fun exercises. He'll give you tangible exercises to work on at home (e.g., audio files, pdfs of sheet music, etc.) as opposed to generic ideas of things to practice (e.g., 'practice your doubles at 100bpm,' which I've experienced from other teachers). He's also very good at helping you embody the experience of drumming - a must to be a great drummer - as opposed to just intellectualizing notations in sheet music. I highly recommend working with him!
