There are twelve units in our HOA. We have numerous types of roof designs. Unfortunately, we have a flat roof system that covers four condos. We had several leaks that were taken care of by applying two coats of sealant that fixed the problems. This company did an outstanding job and were professional, polite, and courteous. The clean up was excellent. And best of all, their price was reasonable. In fact, we are in the process of hiring them for additional work. Thank you Francisco!
Phillip was very professional, prompt with responding to my inquiry & very honest with me when I had questions. I needed two small sections of wood accents repainted on the front of my house & was clueless about the process. He honestly answered my questions, recommended the best type of paint for the current weather conditions. I was also very impressed with his promptness, hard to find these days. The quality of the job is excellent, he removed the old pieces of paint, sanded it down & applied the new. It looks great! Nothing could have gone better with my experience, I would highly recommend him.
We hired Gonzales Construction to install unfinished double wood doors with windows in our study & to install cupboards & a sink in our laundry room. They gave us a fair price, showed up on time as promised & finished the work in just two days. The doors were spray painted & turned out great! We love how everything turned out & we are definitely hiring this firm to finish our basement. Good guys! Highly recommend them!
Todd and Meaghan were very attentive and went out of their way to make our house look great! They came to our home for a free estimate then again to go over colors and location details. They took all of the cabinet doors to their warehouse so they could paint and wouldn't get anything on our other surfaces, which was great. When they came back to paint the bases, it took a while and our house looked like it was quarantined but in the end it's definitely worth it for them to do all the dirty work :). They even came back on a Sunday and gave up their weekend to finish it all. I love how everything turned out and am glad they went along with my vision. They're pretty reasonable as far as cabinet painting goes and it was worth the investment. Thanks Stroke Paint + Design!
Eli and crew did a terrific job painting the condo I had up for sale. His pricing included supplying the paper, taping, filling in minor cracks and spaces, plastic to protect cabinets, and cleaning of the walls from dust before starting. The project took the estimated 4 days. Things got a little confusing when settling the bill as not all 11 doors were painted on both sides; possibly a mistake in communication. The crew also did a great job of cleaning up when done. My husband and I thought this was a fine job at a good price.
Phil did a great job painting our home. We had a couple of difficult challenges (loose siding and extra caulking needed) that he handled in stride. He was prompt and courteous throughout the entire process. I recommend him highly.
Tom did a very good job painting the shed near my mobile home. He managed to match the color of the vinyl siding, which is a somewhat difficult color to find. This was all done at a reasonable rate and I greatly appreciate it.
We worked with three people at Foothills Painting. The first person, Hillary, was awesome. She answered lots of questions and helped us understand the whole process during the quoting stage of the process. In the end we decided to go with Foothills painting because of our interaction with Hillary even though the quote was a little more than other quotes we received. From that point things went downhill though. After we signed the contract I never received an emailed copy of the contract as expected. When it was time to schedule the job (since we hired them a month before we needed them) I had to call Kyle (the production manager and 2nd person I worked with) 3 separate times (once per day) plus another call/text to Hillary asking for help getting a hold of Kyle before getting a callback to schedule the painting job. When I finally got a hold of Kyle on Monday he said he could either do Friday or Monday of the upcoming weekend and he would call on Thursday to confirm which day it was. On Wednesday I found my drywall work was going to run through Friday and we needed to have paint start on Monday, so I called Kyle, went to voicemail and left him a voicemail stating paint needed to start on Monday. I never got a callback as he said he would give me. On Friday the painter arrived despite my voicemail stating I wouldn't be ready. I was planning on getting the house ready over the weekend for paint to be ready to come in. For fear of being charged a return fee or further delaying paint I said Jose (the third person I worked with) could paint the dry texture on the main floor. When I got home that day I found all of my tools pushed to the center of the room in a big pile of trash (there was no separation between trash and tools). I had to go dig through the trash to make sure my tools and other parts for the house were not thrown out later. I later found out the mounting brackets for the towel holder and toilet paper holder for our bathroom were tossed in the trash can under our vanity and inevitably were thrown out, requiring us to buy a new set. Originally we were told the painters were going to roll paint on rather than spray, which is what I told my drywallers, so they finished the ceiling to be good for rolled paint rather than spray which would have required an extra coat of flat texture on the ceiling. Unfortunately Jose decided to spray to save time so now our ceilings look terrible in some spaces where rolling the paint would have hid the imperfections better. Another issue that came up while painting is the paint didn't completely cover the wall. There are spots where the sheen is matte rather than eggshell due to the new drywall absorbing too much of the paint because enough paint wasn't used. When I pointed this out Jose said I'd have to buy more paint and that it would be an upcharge. During the initial quote it was known that there would be new drywall though, requiring enough paint to properly cover the new wall. I'm not sure if this issue came out due to a bad estimate or due to spraying the paint on, losing 30% of the paint to the air requiring one more coat that wasn't estimated originally. Because Jose was working on the weekend I had no way to discuss this extra charge to Kyle and Jose said I could either pay him for the paint while he was there or I'd have to pay twice as much to have him come back and do another quote. I decided to pay there and figure it out with Foothills later. Once Jose was done there was still spots with mis-matched sheen (I have a photo attached of the stairwell that was 100% new wall but the paint is still patchy). As well as the mis-matched sheen in places there was overspray on everything as well as some damage that needed fixing, it took Jose 2 full days to fix everything. Some things that needed to be cleaned/fixed: * Cuts from one of their taping tools on the ceilings in several rooms and the stairwell. * Cuts from their taping tool on my Nest thermostat trim piece requiring me to get a new trim piece (Jose spray painted it brown to cover the cuts, but that made the trim no longer fit the thermostat). * Wood stove, windows, vanities, lights had overspray on them. * carpet had overspray on it as well as spilled paint( when the overspray was cleaned an oily residue was left behind that I had to clean up instead). * A switch and outlet were completely painted (there was zero taping on the switch and outlet). * A corner in my hallway had all the drywall rubbed off due to the hose rubbing along it * Vent covers were all oversprayed. In the end when I could get a hold of Kyle to try to figure the cost of the extra paint out and why it had occurred he wanted me to figure things out with his sub-contractor Jose rather than resolve things with Jose himself. Given they hired Jose I should have worked out the price with him and he should have figured out what the fair amount to give to their sub-contractor should have been. This made the whole process even more complicated and frustrating. In the end we were left with a paint job we could have done ourselves and more damage and frustration than we bargained for. I wish things had worked out, our experience with Hillary was excellent, but unfortunately everything else was terrible.
Jim is a fantastic person and a hard worker. I initially hired him for installing a wood floor nail-down style, and he kept with me even when it became apparent that a glue-down application was needed instead. He was very diligent with staying in contact, and always made sure I knew what to expect. I now have a BEAUTIFUL floor thanks to him! I definitely recommend him for flooring, and I would for sure hire him for other tasks around the house as well!
I am glad I chose Pain Pals for the exterior paint job on my house in Aurora Co. I thought the bid was more than fair knowing there would be quite a bit of prep work involved with our older home. Tim and Julian were professional and organized through the whole process. The project was completed as stated and on time. Reggie and Jason knocked out a great paint job, with super quality paint, including pressure spraying and a ton of prep and caulking, and did it all in only 3 days. I would recommend Paint Pals to anybody in need of quality painting....
I have worked with Five Star Painting on two projects so far, they are now my my preferred painting company and I will continue to use them for all of my projects. Being a Project Manager, I want to work with companies who are professional, responsive and who care and deliver a quality outcome and at a good price. What I like most about Five Star Painting is their process, right away the schedule someone to provide you with a free estimate, they are knowledgeable in what they do and can offer many suggestions. As soon as you accept the quote, you are contacted by a Project Manager who oversees your project from start to finish. The painters are extremely hardworking and skilled. They show up on time and are clean and professional. I had Five Star Painting paint three bedrooms, bathroom and a full basement with ceilings, they did an amazing job. Don't waste time calling and getting quotes from anyone else, call Five Star Painting, you won't regret it! Leah
Alberto and his crew were able to fit us into their schedule prior to the weather change. They took time to evaluate and give an honest opinion of what needed to be done now and for future to maintain our deck & exterior of our home. The entire time we worked with them, we felt and observed such professionalism and care for listening to our needs and quality of work completed. Plus, they cleaned up very well and very detailed in all aspects of the job. They kept their word and were very kind people. We highly recommend High Color Paint!
I had some window trim and siding that needed to be repaired and I hired James to do the work. I couldn't be happier with the results! He took the time to answer my questions and provided an estimate up front. He arrived on time to begin work and left the job site spotless when he was complete. This has by far been my best Thumbtack experience. I'd recommend Kubiak Home Services for any job.
Mike Meredith was personable and professional. We had previously tried to find a company to do small siding repairs but no one wanted to take it on. Mike stayed in contact by my preferred methods and worked exclusively and punctually around my schedule. His work was high quality, tidy and the price was fair and less than I had assumed it might be. Thanks!
Dan is super nice, and did a very thorough job cleaning gutters, clogged downspouts and roof. I was I'm pressed that the debris from the gutters that fell all around the house was then also swept up and removed to trash. I was so impressed I have asked for a bid to remove two small exterior windows and patch the inside/outside. HIghly recommend D&D Designs!
Excellent communication across the board and stellar workmanship. We are extremely satisfied with how well our project went. (Siding and a window install)
We LOVE working with Funky Monkey! From the quote, the color consultation process and all the special touches that your experienced eyes saw and then youhandled made this such an enjoyable experience. You got everything done in perfect time for our move in. Your commitment to professionalism and doing a high quality job of brushing and rolling on the paint (not spraying) makes it an easy choice for anyone wanting to hire quality with confidence. PS People are going nuts over this color…and those blue doors!
Marco stepped in and rescued our whole house remodel (in Longmont, CO) after our original contractor underbid and overcharged us, did a shotty job, never met a deadline, and then bailed on us. Marco showed up when he said he would, worked diligently, did a great job, and charged us reasonable prices. All this and with a smile to boot. Jobs he tackled for us included: lots of tiling, fireplace refacing, drywall patching, trim install, painting, door hanging, lite electrical, and siding & soffit replacement. Marco is trustworthy, has a strong work ethic, and has the experience to tackle nearly any job. He is a homeowner's dream come true.
Eric and his crew painted our mountain house last summer. They did an amazing job and it looks beautiful. The exterior of our house (cedar siding) had long been neglected and was in really rough condition. Eric made a careful assessment and recommended a course of action including pressure washing, priming, and multiple coats of high quality paint. The cedar was so weathered that we needed 3 coats of paint in places. The new paint job looks fantastic and has significantly improved the look of the house. We used a natural cedar colored paint and it looks like we put new siding on the house. We really enjoyed having Eric and his crew around (and they were great about getting along with our big dog too). We had multiple bids on the job and Eric's price was very reasonable given the amount of work (lots of ladder work and wall prep) involved in our job. We highly recommend Sunrise Painting.
