The contractor correctly diagnosed that the reason my gutters were leaking is the drip edge was on the top of the underlayment and the underlayment needed to be on top of the drip edge. He was honest and told me the underlayment needed to be fixed all the way around the roof and he didn't have time that day so he charged me a reduced rate for just doing the inspection. I contacted my roofing company and they sent someone out to fix it at no cost to me so I was very happy to benefit from the contractors expertise! The contractor was late to our appointment though otherwise I would have given him 5 stars.
Hired Daniel to do a plumbing job in the basement finishing project initially. Did a great job fir a very reasonable rate so then hired him to do Framing, Electrical, Drywall & HVAC work. He bid each job quickly & worked & finished then just as quick... will be hiring again to do some more work & look forward to working with him & his team again....
Joel is a hard working, skilled contractor with experience and expertise in every facet of home maintenance, repair and remodeling -- inside and outside. He does what he says he's going to do, he does it well, and he does it for the price he quotes you. I will definitely hire him again!
Kelly gave us good advice on how to approach our drywall repair. He cooperated with us doing part of the work. He notified us promptly when he needed to reschedule the work. When the appointment time came, he was on time and came with everything he needed to do the job. The results meet our expectations and more. We will invite Kelly back if we have similar work to do in the future.
Cesar did a great job (and quickly!) on completing our kitchen back splash tile, repairing and texturing some drywall and installing our bead board for our kitchen bar wall. Everything came out great. Thanks Cesar! Scot
Brett was communicative, reliable, thorough and did an excellent job, not only with painting but also with texturing and drywall fix. We have already contracted with him to do more work at our home.
Nick Major of Major Woodcraft recently built us a new deck using trex deck materials and steel railings. We had several bids for the project and Nick’s was the most reasonable and realistic. His bid was right on target and there were no surprise upon completion. In addition, Nick started [and finished] the project over a week early. Nick also talked us through the different steps of process and answered any questions we had. Nick’s work ethic and attention to detail are incredible. He even installed special grates near the house door that will allow the snow to fall or melt through once winter comes. Nick is very professional and the deck looks amazing. We will definitely use Major Woodcraft again!
Matt "Big Red" did a fantastic job! He promptly came out to bid the job, gave us a fair price and then was able to start the job the next day. He tiled two back splashes for me, he did quality work and was creative with the tile project when given autonomy when I had to leave the house for the day. Matt also did some painting and drywall repair on my basement. He worked hard, completed the job efficiently. He helped me with sawing a countertop, bringing in his table saw and didn't charge me anything. I would highly recommend Big Red Innovations for your construction needs. He is also very friendly and trustworthy, I felt totally at ease when I had to leave him alone in my home while I was out for the day. A+++
Alex is the great communicator! I have worked with other general contractors in the past and I always had to call them to find out how things are going. With Alex, he is always a text, email or phone call away. He always lets me know what's going on throughout each project we've worked on. If there's an issue, he lets me know and we work through things together. For anyone whose worked on a remodel project, you know how critical it is to know what's going on. Alex is so patient in working through ideas I have if they will work or not. He's good at suggesting alternatives and always keeps my costs low when possible. All the work he's done for me was fully permitted with Broomfield and passed inspections the first time. I feel very confident in the work he's done that it's up to code and my house is safe. I've used Alex to remodel my kitchen, 2 baths, my garage and numerous other little projects like my stair rail system. I'm always amazed how much he knows about every aspect of the remodel process.
John does great work. We've used him for two projects - restoring our large front door and converting an unfinished room (utting in the framing, drywall, flooring, extra vents and power outlets). Highly recommend him.
We contracted Brian and his team to perform a master bath remodel. The bathroom had not been updated since the house was originally built (mid 1990s) and all the fixtures were outdated in addition to having a carpet floor. Although we had to wait 6 months for Brian to be available to perform the work - it was well worth the wait! Brian treated our home like his own - all of his team were very respectful and considerate. They would clean up the house every day after their work and would always ask before turning off the water or doing something that would impact us. He was extremely patient and always willing to go the extra mile - this was our first interior remodeling job, and we were unfamiliar with the sheer number of decisions (big or small) that go with such a job. He was willing to run out to get mosaic tiles a few nights when the weather was poor just so that we could find something we really wanted. He would offer suggestions, but always deferred to us as the customer once we made a decision (sadly, not something all contractors will do!) He would also tell us if there was a piece of work he was uncomfortable performing (such as replacing the shower floor with mosaic tile), and didn't hesitate to tell us when he would recommend using someone else for such a job. And he would notice things (such as a small hole in our wall in another location and the house) and would offer to take care of it for us if we would like to have him do so - this occurred on more than one occasion, and was so thoughtful! Our home is very important to us, and we're very glad that we chose Brian for this work. We were so pleased that we're having him perform a second bathroom remodel this summer. If it is important to you to have someone treat a job as if they were the client, I would highly recommend Brian. Description of work: Master bath update
After looking for the right and affordable contractor for months, it can be a little frustrating but it was worth the wait. I found GALVAN remodeling LLC, they were very prompt at price, work and time frame. They worked on my entire basement from scratch to finish, all the plumbing, walls, floors, paint even door sizing. Their work was done fast, efficient, and very well organized. No middle man on contracting work. Very affordable, efficient and well done. I truly recommend the work that GALVAN remodeling LLC, can do for you.

Work is in progress and on schedule to date. I am pleased with work completed in this stage (07/28/17). Contractor has agreed to have project completed by August 8, 2017.
Mark was extremely friendly, professional, reliable, and knowledgeable right off the bat. He was our clear choice after meeting with several different contractors. He performed the job quickly and kept us in the loop with every step of the project. Everything exceeded our expectations and we have already referred him to neighbors and friends. We will be working with him again when we remodel our bathroom and eventually our kitchen. And probably just having him over for a beer- he's that great of a guy!
Gale dud a great job building my fence. After a long search, I finally found Gale. I wanted the fence done using the existing metal posts. Most contractors recommended other ways but Gale understoodmy reasoningfor extending the metal posts and building a 6ft would fence with metal posts. It's a beautiful fence. Even in the cold, December weather, they worked long and created a lasting fence. Thank you
Not perfect, but good experience - he charged $225 for replacing the drywall behind two rows of tiles on one side of a tile shower. Communication was mostly over Thumbtack. The work was done in a timely manor, but when the tile was put back on, it didn't line up properly with the old tile - probably didn't chip the old grout off the tiles before putting back, so they were slightly larger than bare tile. On an upside, he did clean the grout on the rest of the shower and provide grout sealant which I applied after the job was done. Keith cleaned up after himself very well. Overall, I'd recommend Keith.
My husband started building a basement bar and we had no idea what to do for the top of it. We called a few contractors, but after we met Mike and heard his clever and creative ideas, we knew we'd found our guy!!!! Our bar is AWESOME and we loved working with Mike!!! I know you will too!!!
I have worked with Steve on several projects over the last 10 years. Steve's attention to detail is second too none. The quality of work that Steve produces is some of the best that I have seen. I work with several contractors and Steve is one of my favorites to deal with.Best of all his quality of work that is his final product are done as if it where his home. Steve works very close with all his clients to make sure that they get the best finished product at the best price. Steve is always where he says he will be and stays in close communication with all his clients. I can not say enough about Steve and would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to work with a fair and honest man. Great Contractor.
Used Valentine for massive project. 30' x 26' new Great Room with vaulted 10 1/2' ceilings. Also did hallway, bathroom, and two bedrooms to match. He finished framing two walls and hung, finished, textured, and painted drywall in whole room. Installed several new windows and all the trim and baseboards in the house. I added a few things to the scope of work along the way and he handled it no problem. Had him back for a second project which was kitchen backsplash, bathroom floor and shower tile and it went very well. My wife and I are completely satisfied and love the work. Very honest and trustworthy guy, which is very important to us and unfortunately getting harder to find. I will hire him again for my next project.
I've hired O'Connell Construction for multiple jobs. The price is very fair and the quality of work is excellent. He's even suggested ways of saving me money where most contractors look to make more money from me. For me he's provided the following services; He tore off and replaced the roof on my house, tore down a wall to make one room bigger and upstairs framed, ran electrical, insulated and did the drywall to give me and extra bedroom. In the upstairs, he also tore down the ceiling, replaced insulation and ceiling. He's done some plumbing while fixing up my bathroom to save me hiring a plumber. Then the following year, he built me a garage. He's hard working, fast and excellent at everything he does. I will always look to him first for availability whenever I need anything done and depending on the urgency of the situation, I would be willing to wait for him to be available before considering hiring anyone else.
