I've been in the event planning world nearly a decade. I’ve planned corporate parties, non-profit galas, university events, fundraisers, weddings. From this, I'm confident producing events of all sizes and working with small and large budgets. My husband calls me the "host with the most” because I can't seem to ever "turn off" the planning. :) Even on our wedding day I couldn't stop thinking about the details coming next, the timeline, the shuttle, etc. We had an AMAZING wedding celebration, but my biggest regret/frustration was not being able to afford a day-of coordinator to take that stress off my plate. Amanda planned my entire Bachlorette party. She booked the hotel, the private boat tour, reservations for dinner and reservations at the piano bar. She provided all decorations from bride tribe pony holders, chapstick, hangover kits, champagne/alcohol, napkins, cups, personalized koozies, tattoos and late night games. I honestly could not have asked for a more professional, organized and thoughtful event planner. Afterwards, my family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how amazing she was! If you ever have an event, she is the girl to call! She is very detail oriented and event planning comes natural. For my sons first birthday, she was supposed to be a guest and on her way, she offered to grab some balloons, showed up early and took charge. For both events, I have no idea what I would’ve done without her help. There isn’t a single time I can think of that I have been around her and that she is not planning and taking control of the details. Another strength of hers is negotiation. With years of experience, she is sure to find the best value, location and everything that comes along with the event. She truly cares about her clients and she will make sure her client is happy. We worked with Amanda to plan and execute a 350 person breakfast and everything was flawless! The design/colors of the breakfast were bright and cheerful yet very simplified, which is what I asked for. She was able to create fun sharable food centerpiece with the caterer instead of spending extra money on flowers - which can get so expensive! This was a great way for our guests to share food together and make small talk. And the guest list is always so difficult with last minute people calling to attend, but she handled the rsvp process effortlessly. Overall, Amanda was very quick to communicate next steps with me, and she ran all budget/costs by me before hand so I knew what we'd be spending. Our guests really enjoyed the morning and I had a stress-free day thanks to her event planning skills! I would recommend Amanda's event planning to anyone with large or small events because she can handle it all - beautifully!

Amanda executed several events for me over the course of a few years. Each and every one of them was flawless. Whether it was an Oscar party for 100+ guests, or a professional development event, Amanda gave great care to every single detail in order to make sure that each guest had the best possible experience.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Overall, my pricing is very affordable - my goal is to help people on a budget still have an amazing party. No complex pricing structure, no hidden fees. I listen to my clients, what their wants and needs are, and let them know how I can help. I'm always available for a 15 minute exploratory phone call even if you don't want to fully hire me for your event. I'm happy to help where I can!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We have an exploratory phone call to learn if we are a good fit for one another. On this call you learn a bit more about me and more importantly - I listen to your wants, needs, and ideas. I learn who you are, what your style is, and what type of event you want created. :) Then, I'll send you a quote for services. If everything looks good - we get started and if there's any points of clarity - we make adjustments. But don't worry - nothing is set in stone... I'm very flexible and understand that things may change throughout the process. Then, we establish a communication style so I can learn how often you would like check-ins and updates. Throughout the process, we continue discussing budget, vendors, details, logistics, decor, and more! It's a fun process because I take care of all the research and you get to make all the fun decisions! Working with me is truly a partnership, and I enjoy making the client's vision come to life - no matter the budget!
