Introduction: Hello! My name is Tanya and I am the owner of Pinkys Pawsitively Pampered Pet Sitting. I have 13 years of experience working with and caring for animals. My passion really grew for animal care when I worked for 4 years at Longmont Humane Society as the Animal Care Supervisor in Longmont Colorado. I also have veterinarian hospital experience that I still enjoy doing when I am needed. I have handled animals from newborns to the elderly. I dealt with all types of health issues and behavioral issues, and many types of injuries. I have a natural ability with animals and an extreme passion for them. While working for a veterinarian clinic, my favorite part of the day is to see pet parents and their babies reactions when they are reunited. It is truly beautiful to see the relationships between animals and their humans. My dream is simple. To be outside with the sun playing and caring for animals. Its a perfect way of life to me! I love being around the animals and interacting with the parents. I really enjoy the clents reactions when they come home and see how happy their fur babies are!

Tanya was thoughtful sending photos of our dogs and asking us what we should want to do in case of problems. She was professional and even let us know we had over paid her. We will use her again as the dogs were happy to have her stay.

Tanya is not only reliable and professional, she shows her dedication and genuine care for our animals and for us on a daily basis. Tanya walks our two rambunctious ( and that's an understatement) pups each weekday. She goes above and beyond her call of duty, practicing training techniques with them and writing down notes in her daily journal for us to read when we get home. We love it when we recieve pictures of the dogs while we're at work. Not even ailments or injuries have kept Tanya from taking excellent care of our pets- she has, on several occasions, put the needs of our dogs before her own. We are so grateful for everything she does and highly recommend Tanya as a pet caretaker!

We love Tanya! We trust her absolutely with our puppy. She communicates daily with us and goes above and beyond to care for him. She really knows and understands dog behavior, so we never worry when our puppy is in her care. I would highly, highly recommend Tanya to anyone looking for a caregiver for their dog.

I think anyone who has a 'fur family', can understand the importance of investing real effort in finding a quality caretaker for them. Whether it's a quick pee break, 30 min walk, or serious pet-sitting, the hunt for a trustworthy human is tedious, tiring, and with no guarantees! I had a great dog walker in Denver and unfortunately after moving to the Erie area, I lost them and really struggled trying to find one willing to visit such a remote area. I reached out to Tanya and the poor girl was so sick, but still promised to follow up- which she did, and then some. When she realized I was out of her area (as a lot did), not only did she give me a recommendation right away, but when they were out of my price range, she asked for what I could afford and came up with options that fit! I consider myself to be pretty search savvy, but I found nothing along these lines. She kept helping, reaching out, following up, with zero benefit to herself. She just cared that much. If she could do all that for a human- I can only imagine how well she'd look after my boy Shane. I hope you're lucky enough to be in her service area-- Thanks again Tanya/Safe and Sound Pet Care!

I have always had a love for animals and people. I moved to Colorado and Longmont Humane was my first job moving here. I stayed there for 4 years until leaving to pursue my business full time.
