FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have two ways to pay for visits: insurance or out-of-pocket. For insurance, I am in-network with Cigna, United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare Horizons AARP® MedicareComplete®, UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete® and UnitedHealthcare Group Medicare Advantage. If you want to use your insurance, it helps if you call your insurance before your acupuncture appointment to find out if you have coverage. Some questions to ask the insurance company: 1. Am I required to meet my deductible before my visit is covered? 2. Do I have a copay or a coinsurance charge? 3. How many visits am I allowed per year and when does the year start and end for my policy? 4. Is my acupuncture coverage split with other care, such as physical therapy and/or massage? 5. Does my insurance cover for specific diagnoses (ie chronic back pain, nausea from chemo, etc.) only? For out-of-pocket visits, I accept cash, check, health savings accounts, and all major credit cards. The prices are: · 30-minute consultation with acupressure: $20 · Initial Adult Acupuncture Treatment with Massage: $97 (60-90 min) · Adult Acupuncture Treatment with Massage: $77 (60-90 min) · Adult Acupuncture Treatment with Massage (5 Session Package): $317 (~$63 per session, save $68!) · Pediatric (0-12 yrs) Treatment: $50 (60 min) · Cupping Session: $20 (20-30 min)

In the first few minutes, we'll go over your overall health, concerns, and what kind of treatment we'll do. It's best to: wear comfortable & loose clothing. eat before the appointment. limit coffee as it is a stimulant. relax to receive the treatment. breathe deeply as it aids in connecting you to your body.
