Papas Home Improvement: Awesome The owner, Josiah is a professional in every sense of the word. He has worked with us on a number of project, kitchen, plumbing, deck remodel...he installed custom lighting; designing the most beautiful lighting style on our pergola. (See photo) When he was working on our kitchen remodel, he did some adjustments to our plumbing the make it easier for my husband and I to access the main water cut-off for the whole house in case of an emergency and a year later at about 2 a.m. in the morning, our 20 year old hot water tank broke and was flooding the utility room and guest bedroom but we were able to go into the kitchen and turn off the main water line, which saved hour home from flooding during the night. We called him and he came the next morning and installed a new water tank and some special additions to eliminate the possibility of future flooding. His work is surpurb. We found him to be timely, consistent, dependable, does quality work, pays attention to details. He's trustworthy, never left us waiting and wondering if he would be on site each day, he is committed and takes his job seriously. My husband and I fell in love with this young man. We were scammed a few years ago and Josiah & his Uncle, restored our faith in mankind. I would recommend him without hesitation. His charges are reasonable and his work is worthy of his pay. If you don't want to take a chance on getting the right contractor...I suggest you call Papas Home Improvement to eliminate the worry. We miss Papa's Home improvement here in Denver so writing this review was bittersweet! J'Mae Stewart Denver, CO
Sterling is an artist with wood. He took my antique school desk that was marred and ugly and made a beautiful peace of it. He does extremely excellent work. I will use him again if I have other furniture pieces needing refunishing. He did what he said he would do for a reasonable price. Sterling is not a slave to the clock. If you are looking for fast and don't care about the quality, then get someone else. The photos of his work don't do his work justice. The outcome is much better than I thought it could be.
Zeh's Custom Design did an amazing job restoring our antique farm table, an antique cabinet and mahagony desk. The pces look brand new. Chris had wonderful suggestions and was great to work with. Will definitely use his services again.
He is very good at what he does. He sent me photos of the work in progress. Seems to love antique furniture. Perfectionist.
Adam was prompt and quick for both the estimate of our job and completion. We had Adam repair our yard from years of damage done by multiple dogs. He is VERY fair and transparent in his pricing. I would have gladly paid him more for his professional, quick and beautiful work restoring our yard. I will definitely hire him for the landscaping design of our new home!
John does great work. We've used him for two projects - restoring our large front door and converting an unfinished room (utting in the framing, drywall, flooring, extra vents and power outlets). Highly recommend him.
Dan did a great job of repairing and restoring my deck - it looks great. He is very experienced. Thanks to Dan and his crew for quality work and cleaning up!
Carol was prompt, professional and properly equipped. She fit me in to her tight schedule for insurance work on restored plaster. Her price was fair. She is a great colorist and matched our existing faux finish colors perfectly. She was easy to talk to and we worked together on color in changing light. I would definitely hire her again.
Jason did a great job on our old bathroom walls. He does beautiful work and they were smooth and perfect when he was done. He also worked with me if I wanted something different. The price was fair too. I would highly recommend him.
Roger Barber at Harmony Custom Interiors painted our maple kitchen cabinets off-white with a subtle antiqued accent. This was an extensive job over several weeks. We are very pleased with his work. Our cabinets look very professionally painted, almost brand new. To get this perfect finish, Roger used a very methodical process involving several stages of sanding, priming, deglazing, and painting. He is very perfectionistic and attentive to every little detail, which I really appreciate. He is also considerate and polite. His pricing is reasonable as well. I highly recommend Roger.
Dan from "Perfect Surface" did a wonderful job refinishing my antique table. The table was pretty beat up but looks like new now! He even finished it ahead of schedule. I will definitely use him again.
After extensive research to locate a contractor for my 'older home' remodel and restoration, I selected Steve Campbell. Not once during the demo and construction did I experience disappointment. Mr Campbell gave me an overview of materials, procedures and time frame that were exceptionally accurate. His experience and knowledge was evident as he proceeded to a very well done and beautiful conclusion. I found he and his crew to be honest professionals and I appreciated that.
Krista took an existing pine table that we delivered to her home workshop with a natural finish and put a jacobean stain on the top and made the turned legs distressed black for us. Very satisfied with the time it took to perform the work and the fulfillment of our expectations on the appearance of it. Krista was pleasant to deal with and answered all my wife's questions in the process of taking the order and delivering the finished product. Tom & Diane Bailey
Rene is amazing - short version. I have many antique pieces from early 1900s that I received from my Gma when she died. They were banged up by the time I got them and had scrapes, severe damage, missing handles and broken drawers. I also got a piece from my mom her 1980s hope chest. As you can roughly see the pics before they were so bad they had their seals almost all gone and circles from drinking glasses and more. I tried to finish the hope chest but it went so sour that I finally started to cover the top with a table cloth. I loved these pieces but was about to donate or throw them away but rene saved them. its took about a month for all. There was a lot of damage to the rose dresser seal was gone wheel broken and drawers were all broke, and the long dresser was missing handles and severely damaged out the outside. On top of this the hope chest never unlocked - lane products.... Not only did she fix every single one of them but she finished them the way I always dreamed of having my furniture - 2 tone white and brown. So Joanna gaines I know but I love them. They turned out wonderful and she held my hand every step of the way taking pictures keeping me updated and even sent up to date pics on them. She aways asked me what I wanted to do before doing something. She was very professional and even bubble wrapped my pieces! I am in love with these. She gave me many options in finishes from distressed to 1 tone and more but we did what I wanted very much! I highly recommend Rene. She is a top notch professional and saved me thousands of dollars! Instead of buying new furniture I have new like in the pieces I have and I adore them now. My mom and friends have seen them and will be contacting Rene after Xmas to have their stuff done as I also will too!
Look at my photos, they say a picture is worth a 1000 words. Top of the line materials. The workmanship is of quality and experience.
