We hired Mike and his son Jeff to remodel a basement bathroom that had been flooded. We hire them because Mike really knew his stuff. He was realistic on pricing and time-frame. He was prompt, professional and hard working. These guys showed up in a snow storm!!! They had to move some plumbing for a shower, reframe the shower, take down some walls, move electrical, fix a wall, tile, pour concrete and do some other contractor hocus-pocus that I don't know too much about. He communicated very well, I always knew what was going on. AND they built my kids a stage from "santa". I just can't say enough good things! Thanks Mike and Jeff!

They did a great job tiling our basement shower, including tiling the ceiling. They had good ideas/advice for style as well. We're very happy with the work. It looks amazing!

Mike Winden and his son Jeff did an outstanding job tiling and grouting my my bathroom floor. They prepped the floor, set the tile using quick set mastik and grouted it all in a single day. New tile floor is completely level which Mike laid over an old uneven plywood underlayment. It is an expert job with all joint lines straight and consistent width throughout. It was also reasonably priced. My wife loves the high quality new look. Beautiful job Mike and Jeff! Thank you. Gary Centennial CO

The scope of our project was complete overhaul/remodel of one bathroom, a total redo and demo of a shower in the second bath, with accent/mosaic walls in both baths. Installation of can lighting in the kitchen along with new kitchen hardware (e.g. faucet). In today's world you never know what to expect inviting strangers into your home. Without exception, Mike Winden and his son Jeff were a wonderful team to have in my home. Very courteous and easy to get along with. Mike is also very fair in his pricing and I'll have he an Jeff return for addition work. Thank you Thumbtack for hosting M.W., Inc.

I bid the jobs by the time I believe it will take me to complete. I am fast and good at what I do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not really but try stay up on the latest and greatest in materials used these days.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a father that could fix or build anything and I kind of fell into his footsteps. That and having a geophisics degree and being out of the oil business I needed a steady income.
