- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that when you select a makeup artist, that you ask them some important questions tailored to your specific needs. For example, if you have an allergy to a certain ingredient, inquire about what products they use. Many makeup artists don't take that into consideration, and use the same products on everyone. Another example is anti-aging makeup. If you aren't a 20 year model, which most of us aren't, make sure that your artist is experienced with the tricks of trade for age appropriate makeup. It is a very different skill to design and create a look based on the needs of your client, not the same thing for every face.
