- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard prices for portraits and weddings. I also have standard hourly rates for events. However, I'm always happy to have conversations with clients to determine the appropriate rate when their request is unique.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When possible I like to set up an in person meeting with new clients. This is a great way to discuss their photography needs and if I'm the right person to capture their vision. I do work with many destination clients, so that is not always possible, so I offer phone calls or FaceTime meetings to chat. We discuss their needs, desires and locations to create the perfect solution for each individual client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in business and am a self taught photographer. I've worked diligently over the years to teach myself the technical aspects of photography and editing. I continue my education thru online classes, in person training and seminars. I'm constantly seeking inspiration and keeping myself energized by engaging with peers in the industry.
