$45.00 per hour is the going rate for a licensed teacher to tutor.

I am a third grade teacher. This is my 7th year teaching. I have a degree in education and English as a second language.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to be a teacher when I was in 4th grade. I knew that I wanted to help children learn and do well in school. When I was younger, I would have benefited greatly from a tutor, but there were none in our area. I want to be able to provide this service for kids in my area now.
