I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Skedaddle from start to finish. The crew arrived right on time, assessed the layout quickly, and maintained a highly professional and positive attitude throughout a very long day. They truly took the stress out of moving day by being careful, efficient, and extremely respectful of both my belongings and my home. They also came last minute as booked them the night before.

Skedaddle Moving Services was great to work with and helped us out immensely with a last minute Memorial Day move across town. We hired Skedaddle Moving Services to move our furniture from a storage unit to our new home. Loyie and Roman did an amazing job for us. It was not easy at the storage unit as my husband was with them and reported that all of our furniture had been dumped on its side, except for our safe which was dumped upside down in the unit by the previous moving company, resulting in a lot if damage. At our home, our movers were great at alerting us to anything they needed to do to help something fit through a door, always checking with us, and if they saw a piece not really working they would ask us about that too and help us come up with a solution. Loyie is excellent with communication. Keeping us in touch before and throughout the process. They are both personable, friendly, willing to help in any way they can, as well as efficient, obviously experienced and very good at what they do. I highly recommend them for any of your moving services. We would use them again.

We keep our pricing simple and transparent with no hidden fees. All moves have a 3-hour minimum, and we bill in 15-minute increments after that. Local moves include a flat $100 trip fee to cover fuel and travel to your location. We make sure customers know exactly what to expect before moving day so there are no surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by gathering key details: move date, home size, stairs, distance, and any specialty items. Once we confirm availability, we provide a clear estimate with our hourly rate, trip fee, and 3-hour minimum.
On moving day, our team arrives on time, walks the home with you, creates a plan, protects furniture and floors, and begins loading. We communicate throughout the process to make sure everything goes smoothly and stress-free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our movers are trained in proper lifting techniques, furniture protection, safe loading, efficient packing, and structural home protection (doorways, floors, railings). We’ve learned from hands-on experience with all types of moves — apartments, homes, storage units, long-distance, and specialty items. We also stay up-to-date with best practices for safe and efficient moving.
